The indicia may be comprised of lines and symbols of differing size, shape and color, as well as verbiage for additional assembly instructions.     Abstract: A method and apparatus for monitoring quality of a weld bead during a welding process utilizing an electronic controller is disclosed. The method and apparatus includes determining an average power spectral density value for a first welding parameter signal between a first predetermined frequency and a second predetermined frequency, determining an average power spectral density value for a second welding parameter signal between a first predetermined frequency and a second predetermined frequency, and comparing the average power spectral density value for the second welding parameter signal with the average power spectral density value for the first welding parameter signal and terminating the welding process if the average power spectral density value for the first welding parameter signal exceeds the average power spectral density value for the second welding parameter signal.

    Abstract: A track bushing for an endless track of a track-type machine includes a cylindrical tubular shape having a first end and a second end and a longitudinal axis. The track bushing further includes a first end bearing surface that is adjacent to the first end and a second end bearing surface that is adjacent to the second end. A circumferential groove is formed in at least one of the first end bearing surface and the second end bearing surface. The circumferential groove has a depth along the longitudinal axis. An abrasion and corrosion resistant material is arc welded within the circumferential groove to the bushing at a weld joint.

    Abstract: An improved method for manufacturing a solenoid. The method includes the step of providing a single piece ferromagnetic housing. The method also includes the step of forming a groove around the perimeter of the housing. The method further includes the step of filling the groove with a non-ferromagnetic material such that the non-ferromagnetic material forms an annular ferromagnetic piece that spans the entire groove in the housing. Finally, the method includes the step of removing an inside portion of the housing such that two separate ferromagnetic pieces are formed joined by the non-ferromagnetic piece.
