Abstract: A bait net casting device for catching sea species including a housing having a reel with a retractable cord. The housing includes an opening at the top and forms a handle for holding the bait net casting device when not in use. The bait net casting device includes line strands connecting the cord via connecting rings at one end and a disk at another end. The bait net casting device includes a line coupler drawn through the line strands. The bait net casting device includes a net connecting the disk. The net includes a lead line at its circumference. The lead line includes weights circumferentially spaced in relation to another. A user draws a waist belt through the opening to connect and suspend the housing from the belt. The net casts pulling the cord from the reel. Further, the cord retracts into the housing pulling back and closing the net.
