  • Patent number: 10941809
Abstract: Plain bearing providing an outer ring with an inner surface, an inner ring with an outer surface, the rings being symmetrical around an axis and metallic, at least on the rings being a textured ring with a texturation consisting of a plurality of micro-cavities arranged onto a textured surface. A composite self-lubricating composite liner that is interposed between the inner surface of the outer ring and the outer surface of the inner ring, so that upon sliding movement of the textured ring with respect to the composite liner, some solid particles of the liner, acting as a solid lubricant, are detached from the composite liner and migrate between the sliding surfaces until they get retained into the micro-cavities.

  • Patent number: 10604244
Abstract: A bearing assembly is for movably coupling first and second members, one being movable relative to the other. A plain bearing section includes an inner ring connectable with the first member and an outer convex bearing surface. An outer ring is disposed about the inner ring and has an inner concave bearing surface disposed against the inner ring bearing surface. The two bearing surfaces are formed such that one bearing surfaces slides against the other when the movable member displaces about a first axis and two bearing surfaces engage to prevent displacement between the two rings when the movable member displaces about a second axis. An elastomeric bearing section is disposed about the plain bearing section, is connected with the second member and formed such that at least a portion of the elastomeric bearing section flexes when the movable member angularly displaces about the second axis.

  • Patent number: 10371200
Abstract: A bearing assembly is for movably coupling first and second members, one being movable relative to the other. A plain bearing section includes an inner ring having a bore for receiving the first member and an outer cylindrical bearing surface. An outer ring is disposed about the inner ring and has an inner cylindrical bearing surface disposed against the inner ring bearing surface, one bearing surface sliding against the other when the movable member displaces about a first axis. The two rings engage to prevent relative displacement between the rings when the movable member displaces about a second axis. An elastomeric bearing section is disposed about the plain bearing section, is connected with the second member and is formed such that at least a portion of the elastomeric bearing section flexes when the movable member angularly displaces about the second axis.

  • Patent number: 9433767
Abstract: A wireless tattoo applicator system includes a wireless tattoo applicator having a frame, a wireless receiver mechanically coupled to the frame, at least one coil mechanically coupled to the frame, an armature pivotally coupled to the frame adjacent the at least one coil, a spring mounted to the frame and applying a force to the armature in a first direction, a needle assembly mechanically coupled to the armature and free to move in a reciprocating manner, a battery power supply mechanically coupled to the frame and selectively electrically couplable to the at least one coil and operable, when coupled to the at least one coil, to energize the at least one coil to create a magnetic field causing the armature to be pulled in a second direction opposite the first direction, and a control circuit communicatively coupled to the receiver and operable to couple and decouple the battery power supply from the at least one coil at a selectable frequency.

  • Patent number: 9254376
Abstract: A wireless, battery powered tattooing apparatus employing a stable voltage regulator to provide stable control of the operation of the tattoo applicator. A user interface enables an artist to select a desired reciprocation frequency for the needle movement of the tattoo applicator. The selected setting is used to generate a particular voltage from the voltage regulator that in turn, controls the frequency of the needle reciprocations. A wireless receiver receives operational commands to control the tattoo applicator from a remote transmitter thereby keeping the artist's hands free to work.
