  • Publication number: 20260058474
Abstract: Computer implemented systems and methods for providing an uncertainty platform for an energy grid controller that (1) receives risk inputs including (a) one or more load forecasts, (b) one or more wind forecasts, (c) one or more solar forecasts, (d) one or more generator availability risk forecasts, (e) one or more generator fail-to-start or fail-to-run predictions, (f) one or more net scheduled interchange forecasts, and/or (g) one or more transmission congestion forecasts; (2) determines net uncertainty for a predetermined time period based on the risk inputs; and (3) provides dynamic risk outputs including forecast scenarios, reserve requirements and/or reserve margin thresholds based on the determination of net uncertainty.

  • Patent number: 11467810
Abstract: A build system stores source code in source code repositories and generates deployment artifacts from a build pipeline. The build system receives requirements associated with certification criteria for certifying a deployment artifact based on the source code. The build system executes a build pipeline including build tasks that compile the source code to generate executable files storing executable instructions. The build system evaluates the certification criteria based on results of execution of the build tasks. The build system determines whether the deployment artifact is a certified deployment artifact based on the result of evaluation of the certification criteria. The build system stores a software asset information document in a source code repository identifying software assets build using the source code repository, for example, as a YAML file.

  • Patent number: 8064640
Abstract: A software application to generate a Precision Fires Image (PFI) which provides a precision targeting coordinate to guide an air launched weapon using a forward deployed hand held hardware device executing the PFI software application. Suitable hardware devices to execute the PFI software application include the Windows CE handheld and the Army Pocket Forward Entry Device (PFED). Precision targeting coordinates derived from the PFI software application are compatible with most military target planning and weapon delivery systems.

  • Patent number: 6587791
Abstract: An improved method for assessing the geologic risk for hydrocarbon presence and hydrocarbon accumulation size is disclosed. In one configuration, seismic attributes are assigned to a horizontal axis and data quality to a vertical axis to form a matrix crossplot. Direct Hydrocarbon Indicators (DHI) derived from seismic data are used to qualify the presence and accumulation size. A quantitative method for scaling and calibrating the DHI matrix is illustrated that can be applied to existing petroleum basins and by analog to frontier areas.
