Abstract: An improved, modular game board able to interlock together. The improved game board utilizing a number of generally hexagonal main board pieces having key receiving portions provided in their corners. The improved game board further utilizing a number of key portions, and these key portions having appendages able to be received into the key receiving portions for locking the main board pieces together. The improved game board providing a game playing surface which is locked together and which does not have semi-hexagonal game pieces located at the seams between adjoining main board pieces.
