    Abstract: Feed grains for livestock rations or ethanol production are treated with a solution containing a non-protein nitrogen compound, such as urea, to enhance digestibility. The enhanced digestibility of the treated grain improves the feed utilization efficiency of the livestock ration. The treatment solution of this invention may be used with or without accompanying mechanical processing, such as dry-rolling.
