    Abstract: The present disclosure describes a method, system, and computer program product of calculating electrophoretic mobility of a sample by extracting frequency shift. In an embodiment, the method, system, and computer program product include receiving at least one frequency domain spectrum relating to light intensity detector data corresponding to a sample, truncating the spectrum to a region of interest, establishing a minimum fitter amplitude for what constitutes a peak, identifying possible distinct peaks in the region of interest, finding initial parameters for fitting at least one distinct peak among the possible distinct peaks, selecting a selected fitting model from among a plurality of fitting models with respect to the possible distinct peaks, and fitting the at least one distinct peak to the selected fitting model resulting in at least one fitted signal peak corresponding to the light intensity detector data, allowing for calculating electrophoretic mobility of particles in the sample.
