Abstract: A system and method for interfacing a computing device with in vitro biological neurons is described. In one embodiment, a method of interfacing with a plurality of in vitro biological neurons, comprises: receiving, by processing logic of a computing device, an input signal; generating a stimulation map based at least in part on applying at least one transformation to the image, the stimulation map encoding frequency in a 2D or 3D spatial distribution; and converting the stimulation map into instructions for a plurality of electrical, optical, or chemical impulses to be applied to specified coordinates of a 2D grid or 3D space in a cell excitation and measurement device.

  • Publication number: 20250057980
Abstract: The present disclosure provides compositions, methods, and an overall platform for co-delivery of gene editor polynucleotides and template polynucleotides. The gene editor polynucleotide packaged in a LNP is co-delivered with a template polynucleotide (i.e., “cargo” or “payload”) packaged into a separate vector that is capable of localizing the donor template to a cell nucleus. In certain embodiments, the donor template vector is an AAV, a helper dependent adenovirus, or an integration deficient lentivirus. In typical embodiments, the template polynucleotide is integrated into the genomic integration recognition site by an integrase, optionally by an integrase fused/linked to a gene editor protein.

  • Publication number: 20240364783
Abstract: A compute server of a distributed cloud computing network receives a request for an object that is to be handled by an object worker, where the object worker includes a single instantiation of a piece of code that solely controls reading/writing to the object. Policies are accessed that are applicable for processing the object. If the policies do not allow the object worker to be instantiated on the compute server, the object worker will not be instantiated and the request will not be processed at that compute server. If the policies allow the object worker to be instantiated on the compute server, the object worker is instantiated and the request is processed.

  • Patent number: 12047892
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to providing robust synchronization of a Radio-Frequency (RF) communication in a severe-fading environment. A first portion of a detected RF signal is auto-correlated with a second portion of the detected RF signal. The first and second portions are time-separated by the predetermined time delay separating the first and second code-sequences. A third portion of the detected RF signal is sync-correlated with a sync-sequence so as to generate a sync-correlation signal. The third portion is of the predetermined length of the sync sequence and includes the first and second portions of the detected RF signal used to generate the auto-correlation signal. The auto-correlation signal is multiplied by the sync-correlation signal so as to generate a combined synchronization signal. A peak in the combined synchronization signal is then detected. This peak can be indicative of a synchronization time of an authorized communication.

  • Publication number: 20230139724
Abstract: A method of performing in vitro testing of an effect of a chemical compound on biological neurons is disclosed in embodiments. The method includes training in vitro biological neurons to perform a task representative of a cognitive function of the neurons; determining a first cognitive function value of the neurons based on an ability of the neurons to perform the task; exposing the neurons to a chemical compound; determining a second cognitive function value of the neurons based on the ability of the neurons to perform the task during and/or after exposure to the chemical compound; comparing the second cognitive function value to the first cognitive function value; and determining an effect of the chemical compound on the cognitive function of the neurons based on a difference between the second cognitive function value and the first cognitive function value.

  • Publication number: 20230103444
Abstract: Treatment of CHD1L-driven cancers, including TCF transcription-driven cancers and EMT-driven cancers using CHD1L inhibitors. Small molecule inhibitors of CHDL1 which inhibit CHD1L ATPase and inhibit CHD1L-dependent TCF-transcription have been identified. CHD1L inhibitors prevent the TCF-complex from binding to Wnt response elements and promoter sites. More specifically, CHD1L inhibitors induce the reversion of EMT. CHD1L inhibitors are useful in the treatment of various cancers and particularly CRC and m-CRC. The CHD1L-driven cancer is among others, CRC, breast cancer, glioma, liver cancer, lung cancer or gastrointestinal (GI) cancers. CHD1L inhibitors of formulas I and XX and salts thereof as defined herein are provided as well as pharmaceutical compositions containing CHD1L inhibitors. Synergistic combinations of CHD1L inhibitors with other antineoplastic agents are also described.

  • Patent number: 11544859
Abstract: A system, method and computer program product for generating a digital image. An initial image object defined in an initial coordinate system is determined from an image generation input. The initial coordinate system has at most four dimensions. At least one initial image transformation to be performed on the initial image object is also determined from the image generation input. Each initial image transformation is mapped to a corresponding six-dimensional transformation defined in a six-dimensional coordinate system. An updated image is calculated by applying the six-dimensional set of image transformations to the at least one initial image object. The updated image is then rendered on a user display.
