  • Publication number: 20180232959
Abstract: A central gateway of a vehicle includes a processor and a storage connected to a plurality of vehicle buses. The gateway receives raw data from an electronic control unit (ECU) via one of the vehicle buses, augments the raw data with availability, classification, and context information, publishes the raw data to a publish/subscribe topic hosted to the storage, and subscribes at least a second ECU of the vehicle to the topic. A database of the central gateway is accessed, according to a determined type of raw data received by a central gateway of a vehicle from an electronic control unit (ECU) via a vehicle bus, for augmenting the raw data with availability, classification, and context information. The augmented data is provided to a publish/subscribe topic hosted by the gateway for accessing over a communication network by a service external to the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20160269524
Abstract: A computing platform of a vehicle may communicate with a plurality of mobile devices. The computing platform may identify a voice profile as matching voice input received from a user, the voice profile associated with one of a plurality of mobile devices within the vehicle; perform speech recognition on the voice input using the voice profile to determine a voice command; and process the voice command in the context of the mobile device associated with the voice profile. The voice profiles may be retrieved from a remote telematics server based on unique device identifiers retrieved from the mobile devices connected to the computing platform or retrieved from storage of the mobile devices connected to the computing platform.

  • Publication number: 20150277114
Abstract: A non-transitory computer readable storable medium, storing instruction that, when executed by a processor, configure the processor to establish a communication connection with a vehicle navigation system. The processor may receive graphical moving map data from the navigation system at a primary interface. The processor may stream the graphical moving map data to a vehicle dash display and update the vehicle dash display based on the graphical moving map data. The processor may output the graphical moving map data at the vehicle dash display.
