    Abstract: Poly(methylmethacrylate) polymer particles of substantially increased average particle diameter are prepared by suspension polymerization in a medium comprising an alkane and a chlorinated hydrocarbon, e.g. carbon tetrachloride, in relative proportions chosen so as to provide buoyancy to the polymer particles so formed.
