  • Patent number: 11960099
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for producing non-rotationally symmetric optical aberrations. Such aberrations may be created by a removable attachment that may be attached to another lens, such as a spherical lens. Aberrations that appear to reproduce an anamorphic effect may be produced, yet the underlying camera system may remain a spherical camera system, and the capture mode may remain non-anamorphic.

  • Publication number: 20240120874
Abstract: A roof mount system supports a solar panel above a roof and includes a base positioned on the roof and a first fastener connected to the base and extending away from the roof and moveable along the base in a direction generally parallel to the roof. A first clamp supports a bottom surface of a solar panel frame and adjusts the height of the solar panel above the roof by moving the first clamp along a first fastener in a direction perpendicular to the roof. A second clamp is connected to a second fastener and moves with respect to the first clamp perpendicular to the roof. The solar panel is clamped between the first clamp and the second clamp portion. A protrusion extends from the first or second clamp to form an electrical bond between the solar panel frame and the respective first or second clamp.

  • Patent number: 11928520
Abstract: Operations of a method include receiving a configuration request requesting configuration management of a base configuration package that describes infrastructure of an application. The operations include determining, for the base configuration package, a plurality of package functions. Each package function of the plurality of package functions extends functionality of the base configuration package. The operations include determining, for the base configuration package and the plurality of package functions, a change-proposal function. The change-proposal function proposes one or more of the plurality of package functions to extend the functionality of the base configuration package. The operations include transmitting, to a user device, the change-proposal function and receiving, from the user device, approval of the change-proposal function.

  • Publication number: 20240048181
Abstract: Various product serialization systems can be integrated with thin-film wireless label technology. At the time of activating a thin-film wireless label, a wireless transmitter identifier can be associated with an existing serialization code, allowing the thin-film wireless label and the serialization code to be linked in an item tracking system. In some embodiments, a thin-film wireless label can be manufactured with a trace layer below the printable area of the label. The trace layer connected to a microcontroller in the thin-film wireless label can be used to capture an induction signal generated in the trace layer during thermal printing of a serialization code on the thin-film wireless label. The induction signal can be used to construct a representation of the serialization code. The representation can be associated with the thin-film wireless label, stored, and otherwise used in tracking an item to which the thin-film wireless label is attached.

  • Publication number: 20240029589
Abstract: A wireless communication tape, dispenser of the same and methods of usage of the wireless tape and the dispenser in asset tracking applications are disclosed. The wireless communication tape can be manufactured in an ultrathin form factor by laminating a stack of layers to impart functionality to the wireless communication tape. Methods of use and operation of the wireless communication tape are disclosed to save battery resources of the communication tape. The wireless communication tape may be used to form shipping labels that are thermally printed in a thermal printer and that include a 5G and Bluetooth communication capability to track a location of a package. Examples of 5G wireless protocols include the LPWAN protocols of NB-IoT and LTE-M.

  • Patent number: 11880712
Abstract: In a computing resource environment including at least one resource capable of being allocated to at least one of a plurality of tasks, techniques are disclosed for applying a taint to a resource in a computing resource environment, the taint being configured to prevent the resource from being claimed for a resource request without a toleration to that taint. Variations include receiving, at a resource scheduler in the resource environment, a request to allocate the resource to perform a particular task and determining whether the resource is subject to a taint. If the resource is subject to a taint, analyzing the request to determine if it includes a toleration for the taint. If the request includes a toleration for the taint, allocating the resource to the task. If the request does not include a toleration for the taint, not allocating the resource due to the taint.
