  • Publication number: 20240085575
Abstract: A phase-contrast imaging detector includes a plurality of pixels. Each pixel includes a detection material that generates a measurable parameter in response to X-ray photons. Each pixel also includes a plurality of sub-pixel resolution readout structures. The sub-pixel resolution readout structures are in an alternating pattern with a spacing therebetween that is larger than a frequency of a phase-contrast interference pattern but small enough to enable charge sharing between adjacent sub-pixel resolution readout structures when an X-ray photon hits between the adjacent sub-pixel resolution readout structures. The phase-contrast imaging detector also includes readout circuitry configured to read out signals from the plurality of sub-pixel readout structures. The plurality of sub-pixel resolution readout structures includes two or more electrodes having alternating arms that form an interleaved comb structure.

  • Patent number: 11900165
Abstract: A function processing service may receive a request to execute source code. The source code may include instructions to perform a function. The function processing service may determine whether at least one hardware acceleration condition has been satisfied for the function. If at least one hardware acceleration condition has been satisfied, the instructions in the source code may be translated into hardware-specific code corresponding to a hardware circuit. The hardware circuit may be configured based on the hardware-specific code, and the hardware circuit may perform the function. The function processing service may then provide the result obtained from the hardware circuit to the requesting entity.

  • Patent number: 11423157
Abstract: An adversarial reinforcement learning system is used to simulate a security checkpoint. The system includes a simulation engine configured to simulate a security checkpoint and various threat objects and threat-mitigation objects therein. The system further includes an attack model configured to control threat objects in the simulation and a defense model configured to control threat-mitigation objects in the simulation. • Patent number: 11063777
Abstract: Technologies are disclosed herein for asynchronous distributed editing of a structured document, such as a trouble ticket. A document management service receives edits to the structured document. The edits to the structured document include data to be stored in fields of the structured document and information identifying the fields into which the data in the edits is to be stored. The edits are synchronized to other instances of the document management service. Edits to the structured document made at the other instances of the document management service are also received and stored. When a request is received for the structured document, the edits to the document made at the various instances of the document management service are sorted based upon the order in which they were created. The edits are applied in the sorted order to generate the structured document.

  • Publication number: 20210064109
Abstract: A supplemental power source may be used to provide temporary performance boosts in a computing device by providing additional power to supplement a primary power source. The supplemental power can be used, for example, to run components of a computer system (e.g., a CPU, GPU, memory, SSD, FPGA, and/or ASIC) at higher power to improve performance. In some embodiments, the supplemental power manager may invoke supplemental power from the supplemental power source whenever it determines that an application on the computing device can benefit from additional power and the operating power that is being supplied by the primary power source is at its maximum level. In some embodiments, a determination may be made that an application can benefit from additional power if the application is principally limited by the performance of a particular hardware component and additional power could improve the performance of that hardware component.
