  • Patent number: 11629616
Abstract: A radially flexible connection joint for a gas turbine engine includes an exhaust manifold flange operatively coupling an exhaust cylinder to an exhaust manifold of the gas turbine engine. The exhaust cylinder includes a cylindrical flange that extends radially outwardly from a rotation axis of the gas turbine. The cylindrical flange defines a downstream axial face. The exhaust manifold is positioned downstream from the exhaust cylinder. The exhaust manifold includes an upstream edge. The exhaust cylinder and the exhaust manifold are substantially coaxial with the rotation axis of the gas turbine. The exhaust manifold flange has a bellows portion that extends radially between the cylindrical flange of the exhaust cylinder and the upstream edge of the exhaust manifold. • Publication number: 20230105489
Abstract: A power amplifier system for amplifying a radio frequency signal can have a driver transistor coupled to a radio frequency signal input. The system can also have a transformer balun with a main primary coil connected between the driver transistor and a voltage supply node of the power amplifier system, a secondary coil magnetically coupled to the main primary coil, and an additional primary coil configured to generate a feedback signal related to a signal induced in the main primary coil. A neutralization diode can be configured to use the feedback signal to reduce a gain variation resulting from variations in a voltage supplied from the voltage supply node of the power amplifier system. The neutralization diode can be connected between the additional primary coil and the driver transistor. Through envelope tracking, voltage supplied through the voltage supply node can change in relation to an envelope of the radio frequency signal.

  • Patent number: 11604957
Abstract: Systems and methods for designing a hybrid neural network comprising at least one physical neural network component and at least one digital neural network component. A loss function is defined within a design space composed of a plurality of voxels, the design space encompassing one or more physical structures of the at least one physical neural network component and one or more architectural features of the digital neural network. Values are determined for at least one functional parameter for the one or more physical structures, and the at least one architectural parameter for the one or more architectural features, using a domain solver to solve Maxwell's equations so that a loss determined according to the loss function is within a threshold loss. Final structures are defined for the at least one physical neural network component and the digital neural network component based on the values.
