  • Publication number: 20240121268
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to generating threat intelligence information. A computing platform may receive forensics information corresponding to message attachments. For each message attachment, the computing platform may generate a feature representation. The computing platform may input the feature representations into a neural network, which may result in a numeric representation for each message attachments. The computing platform may apply a clustering algorithm to cluster each message attachments based on the numeric representations, which may result in clustering information. The computing platform may extract, from the clustering information, one or more indicators of compromise indicating that one or more attachments corresponds to a threat campaign.

  • Publication number: 20240110728
Abstract: A fluid heating system including a burner unit is operated based on feedback control loops. The fluid heating system comprises a burner unit configured to heat a fluid, a sensor configured to sense a characteristic of the appliance, and a controller coupled to the burner unit and the sensor. The controller includes an electronic processor and a memory. The controller is configured to receive a first signal corresponding to the characteristic from the sensor, determine, based on the first signal, a first feedback loop control, control combustion of the burner unit based on the first feedback loop control, determine, based on the first feedback loop control, a second feedback loop control, and control combustion of the burner unit based on the second feedback loop control.

  • Patent number: 11924246
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to detecting and identifying malicious sites using machine learning. A computing platform may receive a uniform resource locator (URL). The computing platform may parse and/or tokenize the URL to reduce the URL into a plurality of components. The computing platform may identify human-engineered features of the URL. The computing platform may compute a vector representation of the URL to identify deep learned features of the URL. The computing platform may concatenate the human-engineered features of the URL to the deep learned features of the URL, resulting in a concatenated vector representation. By inputting the concatenated vector representation of the URL to a URL classifier, the computing platform may compute a phish classification score. In response to determining that the phish classification score exceeds a first phish classification threshold, the computing platform may cause a cybersecurity server to perform a first action.

  • Publication number: 20240004823
Abstract: An apparatus and method for efficiently supporting multiple peripheral communication protocols in a computing system. A computing system includes multiple servers with one or more of the servers using multiple connectors for connecting to multiple peripheral devices such as data storage devices. At least one of the connectors is able to support multiple communication protocols, rather than a single communication protocol. A processor of the server determines a peripheral device has been attached to a connector that supports multiple communication protocols, and the processor determines whether one of the multiple communication protocols supported by the particular connector matches the attached peripheral device's communication protocol. If so, the processor configures the connector with the matching communication protocol. Otherwise, the processor generates an indication that specifies that there is no match.

  • Patent number: 11688263
Abstract: This document describes techniques and devices to detect and classify human and animal presence and/or motion based on changes in the interaction of the human or animal with Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) radio frequency (RF) signals within or about a building structure, such as a home or office. A first WLAN device transmits a sounding packet to a second WLAN device and receives an acknowledgement (ACK) of receiving the sounding packet by the second WLAN device. The first WLAN device uses the received ACK to determine Channel State Information (CSI) for an RF signal path between the first WLAN device and the second WLAN device, aggregates the determined CSI with additional CSI, and uses the aggregated CSI to determine a presence or a motion within the structure.

  • Publication number: 20220356903
Abstract: A preloading mechanism including: a first part having a protrusion; and a second part having a recess that matches the protrusion; wherein the recess includes a gib that is flexibly movable via a flexure; wherein a dimension of the recess varies based on a flexing of the gib; when the gib is in a neutral state, the dimension of the recess is smaller than a corresponding dimension of the protrusion; when the gib is in a flexed state, the dimension of the recess is larger than the corresponding dimension of the protrusion; and when the protrusion is inserted into the recess, the gib is in an interfering state, providing a preload force for eliminating a clearance between a surface of the protrusion and a corresponding surface of the recess, wherein the flexing of gib in the interfering state is between those of the neutral state and flexed state.

  • Publication number: 20220312691
Abstract: Raincloud formation depends on the creation of Cloud Condensation Nuclei (CCN) around which water molecules cluster, generating a nano-particles (nano-cluster), then a micro-cluster and finally a water droplet. A collection of such water droplets constitutes a cloud which may spontaneously produce precipitation (in the form of rain, hail or snow) or precipitation induced by cloud seeding. The CCN is the result of nucleation processes. In this patent application, a process is described wherein said nucleation is catalyzed by the injection of a chemical substance, dimethylamine, into the upper atmosphere, preferably through injection of said substance into an electron rich aircraft engine exhaust. The subsequent formation of negatively charged ions has a catalytic effect on the generation of said CCNs.

  • Publication number: 20190148984
Abstract: In aspects, indoor to outdoor wireless power delivery is described that provides continuous power through a building structure. A transmitter receives an indication of a required continuous power from a receiver, configures one or more settings to generate an electromagnetic field to transfer the required continuous power, and generates the electromagnetic field to transfer the required continuous power to the receiver. In other aspects of indoor to outdoor wireless power delivery, a transmitter and a receiver are aligned to provide continuous power through a building structure. The transmitter and the receiver enter an alignment mode, the transmitter produces an electromagnetic field to inductively transfer power to the receiver, and the receiver senses the electromagnetic field produced by the transmitter and provides an indication of an alignment of the transmitter and the receiver to a user of the system.

  • Patent number: 10275506
Abstract: This disclosure describes devices, architectures, and techniques to coordinate data related to separate services to help create a more robust user experience for a user accessing either or both of the separate services. For instance, if the user currently accesses two separate services that relate to a common subject matter, techniques of this disclosure will provide data from one of the services when the user accesses the other. In one example, an activity feed that includes activities relating to both a first service and a second service may be generated and displayed to a user accessing the first service.
