  • Publication number: 20090172819
Abstract: A method and apparatus for implementing integrated circuit security features are provided to selectively disable testability features on an integrated circuit chip. A test disable logic circuit receives a test enable signal and responsive to the test enable signal set for a test mode, establishes a test mode and disables ASIC signals. Responsive to the test enable signal not being set, the ASIC signals are enabled for a functional mode and the testability features on the integrated circuit chip are disabled. When the functional mode is enabled, the test disable logic circuit prevents the test mode from being established while the integrated circuit chip is powered up.

  • Patent number: 7551002
Abstract: A method and apparatus implement balanced clock distribution networks on application specific integrated circuits (ASICs) with voltage islands functioning at multiple operating points of voltage and temperature, and a design structure on which the subject circuit resides is provided. A clock source is coupled to an N-level balanced clock tree providing a clock signal. Each of a plurality of voltage islands includes a respective voltage shifter and programmable delay function receiving the clock signal. Each respective voltage shifter and programmable delay function provides a second clock signal to a respective balanced clock tree for the associated voltage island. A system controller provides a respective control input to each respective voltage shifter and programmable delay function. The respective control input is varied dynamically corresponding to an operational mode of the respective voltage island.

  • Publication number: 20090125349
Abstract: In one embodiment, a system and method is illustrated as including generating a model using at least one of a global conduct score and attribute data. A range of numeric values may be retrieved, based upon which, a better term is granted in a transaction than would otherwise be granted in the transaction. A comparison may be made between the model and the range of numeric values. Further, a better term may be granted in the transaction where the model falls within the range of numeric values. The global conduct score is computed using an approach including at least one of a feed score approach, and a composite score approach. The attribute data includes page view data, click through data, account usage data, and good purchased data. The model includes a global conduct score model, a weighting model, an AI based model, and an associated network based model.

  • Publication number: 20090041293
Abstract: The present invention is an imaging system for detecting concealed objects on an individual. The imaging system includes an imaging zone that is illuminated with millimeter wave energy. A plurality of millimeter wave cameras are focused to fully surround the imaging zone and have the ability to detect millimeter wave frequencies reflected from the imaging zone. As an individual passes through the imaging zone the plurality of millimeter wave cameras detect concealed objects by identifying differences in the millimeter wave energy reflected by the individual's body and a concealed object. A composite image is generated by a central processing unit and displayed on a monitor showing the concealed object on the individual through optical contrast.

  • Publication number: 20080120160
Abstract: An inventory number identifier may be associated with an item number of an inventory account within a system inventory. The inventory number identifier may indicate a number of units of the item available for purchase according to the inventory account of a user. The inventory number identifier may be selected for inclusion among one or more selected identifiers for advertisement generation. An advertisement including the selected identifiers for the item may be generated. The advertisement may be made available within a first system for an item in an inventory account of a user of a second system. The inventory number identifier of the advertisement may be updated by accessing the inventory account of the user. The advertisement may then be displayed within the first system.

  • Patent number: 7358503
Abstract: The invention provides a method for the identification of deposits of solid materials in process plants, the method comprising the creation of a theee-dimensional image by means of tomography, preferably passive tomography, most preferably gamma-ray tomography. Typically, the solid materials comprise gamma-ray emitting solid materials and the process plants comprise nuclear process plants. In general, the deposits of solid materials are deposited from liquid media, and the liquid media preferably comprise aqueous suspensions of these materials. The method is particularly applicable to highly active nuclear waste liquids in High Activity Storage Tank (HAST) applications, and offers significant advantages over the methods of the prior art, since it comprises a non-invasive technique which does not require the prior installation of a detector in the vessel from which data are to be obtained.

  • Patent number: 7328345
Abstract: A system and method for providing end-to-end security of content over a heterogeneous distribution chain is provided. A content owner provides content to an aggregator that receives the content and processes the content. The processing may involve decrypting the content and associating at least one of a unique fingerprint and a watermark to the decrypted content. The unique fingerprint and a watermark to the decrypted content provide identifying characteristics to the content. Additional content-based fingerprints may be used to monitor quality of consumer experience for Video and Audio. The content may be sent in a decrypted state to a client or in an encrypted state. When the content is encrypted the aggregator wraps and encrypts the content with a signature such that an end-to-end flow of the content may be determined. Application Level encryption is used to provide network/distribution medium transparency as well as persistent encryption.

  • Patent number: 7168049
Abstract: A system and method for allocating computing resources. The system obtains a current set of connections from the matrix switch and then renders a display which reflects the current state of the connections. Source and destination ports are displayed as icons with each icon bearing a label that describes the corresponding source or destination. In some embodiments, a user clicks on a source icon and drags it onto a destination icon to route a particular source to a destination. Dragging a source icon off of a destination icon breaks the connection between the source and destination. The display uses a variety of icons, colors, and grouping schemes to indicate other attributes of the ports, such information regarding X Server configuration, physical location of destination devices, and user login sessions.
