Abstract: A system, computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a computer-implemented method for a content management system that receives an update to a value in at least one cell of a table in an editable document. Each cell of the table maps to a property of a class definition for a game asset of a virtual online game. The content management system modifies a property of the class definition that maps to a cell that received the update to the value. The content management system serializes data representative of the modified property. The content management system sends the serialized data to a client system for instantiation of the game asset having the modified property.
