  • Patent number: 11919179
Abstract: An out-the-front knife, components thereof, and associated methods. The out-the front knife can be a double-action spring-assisted knife. The knife includes a handle and a blade. The handle includes a rear end and a front opening opposite the rear end. The blade is movable with respect to the handle between stowed and deployed positions. In the stowed position, the blade is biased rearward. The knife includes an actuator movable in a deploying direction to spring the blade forward away from the stowed position toward the deployed position.

  • Publication number: 20060119510
Abstract: According to one embodiment of the invention, a method of increasing a phase resolution of an array antenna, comprises providing an array antenna having a plurality of rows of antenna elements, each antenna element having a first phase resolution; for at least one row of the array antenna, positioning each of the antenna elements to one of first and second phases, the first and second phases separated by at least the first phase resolution; for the at least one row of the array antenna, a number of antenna elements positioned to the first phase is the product of a number of antenna elements in the at least one row of the array antenna and a desired row phase angle divided by the first phase resolution; and for the at least one row of the array antenna, a number of antenna elements positioned to the second phase is the number of elements in the at least one row of the array antenna minus the number of antenna elements in the at least one row positioned to the first phase.

  • Publication number: 20020118215
Abstract: The invention provides a method and system for displaying the internal functions of a block. A user identifies a selected block having a block identifier. A data file having a plurality of drawing files is searched, using the block identifier, to identify a matching drawing file that is associated with the block identifier. The matching drawing file is scanned to identify special character items in the matching drawing file. Each special character item that is identified in the scanning is associated with a graphics item. Each special character item that is identified in the scanning is then stripped from the matching drawing file to generate a modified matching drawing file. A display is generated based on the modified matching drawing file and each identified graphics item representing the internal functions of the block.

  • Patent number: 4923510
Abstract: Refractory carbonaceous sulfide ores are treated in a manner so as to improve gold recovery by a treatment in specific combination of steps whereby the ore is treated with chlorine after pretreatment and before cyanidation; the particular steps in the treatment of the ore have been found to be necessary as the conventional pretreatment will not improve the yields on any economic basis.

  • Patent number: 4902345
Abstract: The recovery of precious metals from refractory carbonaceous and sulfidic ores or concentrates is improved by subjecting an oxidized slurry of this type of ore to thiourea leaching in the presence of carbon instead of subjecting the slurry to cyanidation leaching.

  • Patent number: 4366050
Abstract: A scheelite concentrate is recovered from a scheelite ore containing silicate minerals and other calcareous minerals by froth flotation which process comprises grinding the ore sufficiently fine to liberate the scheelite grains, pulping the gound ore with water to form a slurry containing between about 20% and about 40% solids by weight, sequentially conditioning the slurry with at least one alkali metal carbonate in small but effective amounts to provide an alkaline pH adjustment and a source of carbonate ions, with small but effective amount of alkali metal silicates to depress siliceous and calcareous gangue minerals other than scheelite and with a fatty acid collector in small but effective amounts to coat the scheelite grains, the conditioning with the fatty acid collector being conducted with sufficient agitation to disintegrate floccules of scheelite, silicate mineral and other calcareous mineral grains and to preferentially reflocculate the scheelite grains for a period of time sufficient to produce u
