Patent number: 12642182Abstract: A vehicle and a method for side loading a hay bale. The vehicle has a frame, a side loader mechanism, and a storage assembly. The frame has a side oriented parallel to a direction of travel of the vehicle. The side loader mechanism is pivotably coupled to the side of the frame and pivots between an extended position and a retracted position. The side loader mechanism has a first loader arm and a second loader arm which open and close relative to one another, to thereby, squeeze a hay bale between respective ends of the first loader arm and the second loader arm. The storage assembly receives the hay bale from the side loader mechanism at a first location on the vehicle and conveys the hay bale along a path relative to the side loader mechanism from the first location to a second location on the vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: July 9, 2024Date of Patent: June 2, 2026Assignee: Pomme de Terre River Valley Products and Consulting, LLCInventor: Brian Ballard

Patent number: 12557738Abstract: A system and a method for loading a hay bale on a vehicle. The vehicle has a frame, a loader assembly mounted to the frame, and a storage assembly mounted to the frame and positioned relative to the loader assembly. The loader assembly has a loader arm rotatably coupled to the frame and a spike extending outwards and orthogonal to the loader arm. The loader arm can be manipulated between a retracted position and an extended position. When in the extended position, the loader arm extends outside the frame with the spike oriented parallel to the frame. The storage conveys a storage plate along a path relative to the loader assembly. The storage plate is arranged to remove the hay bale from the spike as the storage plate is conveyed along the path in a first direction and with the loader arm in the retracted position.Type: GrantFiled: April 19, 2023Date of Patent: February 24, 2026Assignee: Pomme de Terre River Valley Products and Consulting, LLCInventor: Brian Ballard

Patent number: 9224322Abstract: A method and a system involve the insertion of digital data into a number of video frames of a video stream, such that the video frames contain both video content and the inserted digital data. The video, including the inserted digital data is then visually conveyed to and received by an augmented reality device without the use of a network connection. In the augmented reality device, the digital data is detected, processed and used to provide computer-generated data and/or information. The computer-generated data and/or information is then presented on a display associated with the augmented reality device or otherwise reproduced through the augmented reality device, where the computer-generated data and/or information supplements the video content so as to enhance the viewing experience of the augmented reality device user.Type: GrantFiled: August 3, 2012Date of Patent: December 29, 2015Assignee: APX LABS INC.Inventors: John A. Martellaro, Brian Ballard, Jeffrey E. Jenkins

Publication number: 20090013280Abstract: A user interface for a list of items, and methods of creating and using the user interface. The user interface includes a first visible region that displays a visible list of multiple items, a second visible region that displays meta-information common to all items in the list, and a third visible region that displays a meta-control corresponding to an action applicable to all items in the list. The user interface permits user interaction with individual ones of the items in the first visible region, with individual interaction being performed separately and independently of action on other items in the list. In addition, the user interface permits user interaction with all items in the list at the same time, through viewing and comprehension of the meta-information in the second visible region, and through meta-control of all items in the list by performing the action corresponding to the meta-control in the third visible region on all items in the list.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 31, 2006Publication date: January 8, 2009Applicant: MusicNet, Inc.Inventor: Brian Ballard
