  • Publication number: 20260014361
Abstract: Devices and methods for delivering one or more therapeutic agents to an animal are provided. In at least one embodiment, the device includes (1) an at least semi rigid body defining at least one internal reservoir for holding one or more therapeutic agents, (2) a porous rate-controlling membrane located in the internal reservoir that controls the rate of release of the therapeutic agent to the animal; and (3) a fluted extrusion and refilling tube in fluid communication with the reservoir that facilitates inflation or deflation of the internal reservoir with the one or more therapeutic agents where at least the edges of the porous rate-controlling composite membrane are sealed or cladded with at least a portion of the semi rigid body to form a contiguous, fully integrated therapeutic device.
    Type: Application
    Filed: July 25, 2025
    Publication date: January 15, 2026

  • Publication number: 20230149687
Abstract: A device for delivering one or more therapeutic agents to a mammal is provided. In at least one embodiment, the device includes (1) a port for receiving one or more therapeutic agents that is to be delivered to a mammal subcutaneously, the port having a stem; (2) a reservoir that is comprised of at least a compliant elastic material and a rate-controlling membrane that allows the one or more therapeutic agents to be delivered to the mammal at a controlled rate and the rate-controlling membrane and the compliant elastic material being attached to each other and the reservoir being capable of being inflated to contain one or more therapeutic agents and deflated, the reservoir being in fluid communication with the stem of the device.

  • Patent number: 9240303
Abstract: An x-ray tube including dual, electrically-conductive emitter tubes to support and provide electrical power to an electron emitter. A method of evacuating and sealing the x-ray tube by drawing a vacuum on the x-ray tube through an inner tube of dual emitter tubes, then pinching the inner tube to seal off the enclosure and to maintain a vacuum therein.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 8, 2014
Date of Patent: January 19, 2016
    Assignee: Moxtek, Inc.

  • Publication number: 20140248981
Abstract: In one example, a transmission is provided that includes a sheave of selectively variable configuration, a driven member configured to engage the sheave, and a plurality of drive members configured for radial movement to selectively engage the driven member. The transmission may be operable in one or more of the following modes: traction mode, integer mode, IN mode, and infinite mode.
