Abstract: A portable, sustainable, and efficient system and apparatus for breaking down processed solid plastic waste and other polymer-based feedstock into fuel oil, sustainable energy, carbon char, and other useful products. With minor modifications, biomass can also be treated. Distributed microwave heating sources and mechanical mixing effectively mix heat in a highly insulated reactor that protects the microwave components, makes fast pyrolysis possible, and thereby enables scaling down to compact and highly portable systems. Products include diesel, gasoline, propane, butane, and char. Product materials are distributed using tight temperature control and mechanical routing.

Abstract: A virtual environment program, method and system are provided that allow avatars representing users to interact in different ways within the virtual environment. A medical consultation environment is provided. A simulated environment with different virtual rooms, and different interactive functionality associated with different rooms is provided. Additionally, verbal communications between participants are determined based on physical separation of avatars and other location information.

Abstract: A mower deck includes a blower to lift blades of grass or vegetation for cutting. The blower may be mounted above and to the rear of the mower deck, and may rotate on a vertical axis spaced from the axes of the cutter blades. A passage or duct extends from the cutting chambers under the mower deck to the blower. Cutter blades may be used having essentially flat or planar surfaces to reduce noise, or the mower deck may be used with conventional blades. The mower deck may be configured with several alternative discharge modes, so that clippings and debris may be collected in a container, or may be dispersed to the rear or side of the mower.

Abstract: A method and apparatus include processing for providing reliable internetworking services that begins by determining whether identified internetworking resources and identified intranetworking resources provide a reliable intranetworking service. For example, the internetworking service may be a communication, data transfer, file share, etc., between two or more users affiliated with different networks. The identified intranetworking resources are those links within each network to support the communication (i.e., the internetworking service) and the identified internetworking resources are those that couple the networks. The processing continues by determining whether the reliable internetworking service cannot be provided due to a failure of one of the identified intranetworking resource. When this occurs, the identified internetworking resources that are associated with the failed intranetworking resource are flagged.
