    Abstract: A cutting tool having grit particles coated onto its outer surface, most of which include a substantially flat outer surface defining at least one cutting edge. The tool has two surfaces which intersect, and the grit particles are adhered to each surface and to the intersection of the surfaces. The grit particles at the intersection of the surfaces have a further substantially flat outer surface defining at least one cutting edge, with the further substantially flat outer surface being inclined relative to the substantially flat outer surfaces on each of the other two surfaces.
