  • Publication number: 20120080436
Abstract: In one embodiment, a bucket is described as including a primary reservoir and a secondary reservoir. A bottom of the secondary reservoir is located at a corresponding elevation between a top and a bottom of the secondary reservoir. The primary reservoir is disposed in selective fluid communication with the secondary reservoir.

  • Publication number: 20120082509
Abstract: A housing is disclosed having ends capable of receiving tool head interfaces and tool handle interfaces. One of the ends can be configured as a specialized interface end and the other end can be configured as a standardized interface end. One example of a standardized interface end is a threaded interface. An example of the specialized interface end is a selectively engaged end having a plurality of detents for variable positioning of the tool head end relative to the tool handle end.

  • Publication number: 20120073073
Abstract: A painting device is disclosed in one embodiment having a paint pad and an assembly useful in coupling to and manipulating the paint pad during use. The painting device can include jaws that are moveable relative to each other to couple to the paint pad. A guard member can be provided to protect a periphery of the paint pad. The guard member can be moved relative to the paint pad to selectively expose the periphery of the paint pad. A coupling member capable of being coupled to another device and/or directly used to manipulate the painting device can be moved relative to the paint pad. The coupling member can be rotated to different positions using a selector that permits such rotations.

  • Publication number: 20070035384
Abstract: An access (utilization) controller to restrict or block visual or aural interaction between a vehicle operator/driver and mobile communications and information devices such as computers, mobile telephones, pagers, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and the like mounted on or used in the vehicle is disclosed. The utilization controller comprises sensors to detect motion or “potential” motion of the vehicle, a processor receiving data from the sensors and inhibitor means responsive to the processor to “blank out” or otherwise inhibit any distracting visual or aural output from the communications or information devices while the vehicle is in motion or about to move. The sensor data such as speedometer, transmission gear position indicator, antilock brakes and others are extracted from a vehicle's internal monitoring and control systems.

  • Publication number: 20050091009
Abstract: A method, apparatus and program product to facilitate the analysis and monitoring of stream and river conditions, with emphasis on Natural River Design. To this end, the invention uses and processes channel data to provide analysis and monitoring information and optimized channel design information. The channel data is automatically accessed from a database that includes channel data derived from a plurality of geomorphological sources and user inputs. The channel data is located and otherwise determined in response to user input and is used to derive optimized channel design information. This channel design information may be used to implement specific preventive and restorative practices appropriate to realize stable and ecologically appropriate characteristics for a given target reach.

  • Patent number: 4120584
Abstract: A method of preparing small samples for analysis by instrumental techniques is disclosed, wherein the method includes steps of holding a representative plurality of samples in contact with a surface of a backing member, with said samples in close proximity to each other, and linishing or grinding an area of said samples across a surface parallel or tangential to said surface of said backing member.
