  • Patent number: 11775684
Abstract: A rule-based attribution mechanism analyzes documents having different types of data in different formats through the application of script-based rules that apply a tag to the document identifying the type of sensitive data that is contained in the document. Documents having similar tags are aggregated so that the sensitive data is scrubbed from the document leaving the telemetric data available for downstream processing. The scrubbing entails different actions, such as, eliminating the sensitive data, obfuscating the sensitive data, and converting the sensitive data into a non-sensitive value.

  • Publication number: 20160165073
Abstract: Apparatus and methods coordinate imaging in a fleet of disparate imaging devices. Each imaging device is associated to a unique identifier. Imaging volumes are gathered for each device in advance of a user walkthrough past the fleet. The volumes are averaged over a predetermined time period and displayed to the user during their walkthrough on a handheld computing device. A confidence factor is included so the user can ascertain reliability of the volume averages. The handheld computing device provides the user real-time knowledge of the fleet to better coordinate managed print services, for example. The handheld computing device is also configured to receive partial data from the user and in response provide selectable options corresponding to an identity of the imaging devices as standardized by third party reference data, for instance. Embodiments typify user interfaces, user actions, data, and computing applications, to name a few.

  • Patent number: 7653731
Abstract: Embodiments of present application treat Connection Information Files contained in an instance of an application, such as a workbook, as independent objects and multiple data objects, such as data summary tables, may link to one Connection Information File. Maintaining Connection Information Files as independent objects within an instance of an application provides the ability to modify a connection to an external data source and have that modification applied to all linked data objects without having to modify each data object individually. Additionally, a user may view a complete list of all Connection Information Files that exist within a workbook and easily add, delete, or modify those Connection Information Files.

  • Publication number: 20070088691
Abstract: Cube functions may be used to obtain data from a multidimensional database. The cube functions may be contained within one or more cells of a spreadsheet. These cube functions behave similarly to the standard functions that may be included within a spreadsheet. Exemplary cube functions include obtaining: a cube member, a cube value, a cube set, a ranked member, a KPI, a member property and a count relating to a set. The cube functions within the spreadsheet may access the cube data from one or more multidimensional databases. Using the cube formulas in individual cells allows the user to add/delete rows and/or columns from within the spreadsheet.

  • Patent number: 6765530
Abstract: An antenna apparatus capable of generating scanning beams through a range of 0°-90° is provided. The antenna apparatus includes one or more rows of antenna elements, with the antenna elements in each row being arranged in pairs. The elements within a pair are separated by a distance of about lambda/four, and the pairs are separated by a distance of about lambda/two, where lambda is the wavelength of the center frequency of signals transmitted from the antenna apparatus. Transmit/receive circuitry may be electrically connected to each pair of antenna elements, with the signal to elements within a pair having a phase quadrature relationship so that the pair of antenna elements generates a scanning beam in one direction and a control pattern null is achieved in another direction. A control system controls the generation of a scanning beam output by the antenna apparatus.
