  • Patent number: 9337014
Abstract: A substrate processing system architecture includes an MOCVD reactor processing module coupled to a single three-level load lock chamber. The load lock has a heater at a first stationary location, a cold plate at a second secondary location, and a three-level transport system between the heater and cold plate. The transport system has two-position carrier transfer assembly with upper and lower stages, where the upper stage may move between an intermediate transfer level and an upper level proximate to the heater while the lower stage moves between a lower level proximate to the cold plate and the transfer level. The choreography of substrate transport between external loader, load lock and reactor allows substrates to be processed in the reactor while other substrates are post-process cooled, unloaded, and a new substrate loaded and preheated.

  • Publication number: 20160119704
Abstract: A wireless headset capable of receiving audio signals transmitted wirelessly and compatible for use in an MRI scanner is disclosed. The headset includes a first wireless module connected to the first earphone and a second wireless module connected to the second earphone. Each wireless module is electrically connected to a speaker in the respective earphone. The first wireless module receives the audio signal from a remote source and coordinates transmission of the audio signal to each of the speakers. The compact nature of each earphone minimizes the length of wire runs. In addition, the headset is made of materials having low magnetic susceptibility such that they will not be affected by the magnetic field from the MRI scanner.

  • Publication number: 20160021219
Abstract: A physiologic transmitter manages multiple communications between physiologic data acquisition devices attached to the patient and a receiver attached to an MRI or CT scanner. The transmitter's processor is able to generate waveform data and trigger data based upon the acquired physiologic data and transmit the data to a physiologic receiver attached to the host scanner. The receiver then is able to deliver a trigger signal to the host scanner for imaging the patient during a selected time frame based upon cardiac and/or respiratory cycles of the patient.

  • Patent number: 9228330
Abstract: An aesthetically designed sink (100) comprises a plurality of orifices (110, 115, 120, 125) that deliver different water flow profiles for washing, rinsing, and drinking. Hot and cold water supplies (1110, 1115) supply water to the sink. A series of touch and sliding-touch controls (130-180) regulate the temperature and flow of water from the orifices. A logic circuit (1105) controls all operations, i.e., orifice selection, flow rate, and temperature. In one aspect water flowing from an orifice forms a sheet-shaped stream that arcs over the bowl for ease of washing and drinking. The stream can be illuminated by bi-color light-emitting diodes (121) in colors indicative of the selected temperature of the water flowing through that orifice. Alternatively an orifice is replaced by a removable fixture (900) in a cavity (905) in the sink, which is connected to the water supply (910).

  • Publication number: 20150367629
Abstract: A method of printing from a fixed inkjet printhead having a plurality of ink planes. The method includes the steps of: feeding a print medium past the printhead in a media feed direction, the media feed direction defining relative upstream and downstream sides of the printhead; printing an image onto the print medium, the image being defined by image data; and printing a keep-wet pattern onto the print medium from each ink plane of the printhead, the keep-wet pattern being defined by a plurality of dots printed at a frequency sufficient to maintain hydration of each nozzle in the printhead. A first keep-wet pattern from a first ink plane is printed at a higher frequency than a second keep-wet pattern from a second ink plane, the first ink plane being furthest upstream in the printhead.

  • Publication number: 20150360465
Abstract: A method of generating print data for an inkjet printhead having a plurality of ink planes. The method includes the steps of: receiving image data for a print job in a printer controller; retrieving keep-wet pattern data for each ink plane of the printhead, the retrieved keep-wet pattern data being determined using one or more input parameters; generating first print data for each ink plane in the printer controller based on the received image data; merging the first print data with the keep-wet pattern data to provide second print data for each ink plane; and sending the second print data from the printer controller to the printhead, thereby causing the printhead to print an image together with a keep-wet pattern. The keep-wet pattern is defined by a plurality of dots printed at a frequency sufficient to maintain hydration of each nozzle in the printhead.

  • Publication number: 20150275979
Abstract: An cooling apparatus and method for providing a cooling air flow in a region of a constant velocity joint. The constant velocity joint has a housing comprising a first housing portion and a second housing portion. The first and second housing portions are coupled together by fasteners. The cooling device comprises a load-distributing portion and a fan-blade portion. The load-distributing portion is located between a head of each fastener and either the first or second housing portion, with each fastener inserted into a respective hole in the load-distributing portion. The load-distributing portion distributes a load applied by the fasteners to the first or second housing portion. The fan-blade portion is coupled to the load-distributing portion. The fan-blade portion is configured to create a current of air when the constant velocity joint housing rotates.

  • Patent number: 9142707
Abstract: An apparatus, system and method for performing ELO are disclosed. Device assemblies are contemporaneously etched in a stacked arrangement. Each device assembly may be placed in a respective tray, where the trays are overlapped and spaced apart from one another. In this manner, more device assemblies can be etched per unit area compared to conventional systems. Further, by stacking device assemblies during etching, the yield can be improved and/or the cost of the etch tank and associated hardware can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20150185459
Abstract: An illumination system for diascopic microscopy comprises a computer (610) with memory (625), a graphics program (605), a display driver (615), and graphical display (600). The display is positioned between a microscope's light source (105, 704) and condenser (110). When activated, the illumination system causes the display to display a predetermined pattern which the light source projects onto the condenser and is then focused by the condenser on a subject (125) to be examined. In conjunction with the microscope's light source, the illumination system emulates the illumination techniques of bright field, dark field, oblique, polarized, monochrome, modulation contrast and phase contrast illuminations.
