Abstract: The invoice transaction lifecycle software is a snap-in for a customer relationship management (CRM) software package that includes full invoice transaction lifecycle processing, allowing customer request initiation, fulfillment, accounting, and completion to be performed through a common single user interface. The invoice transaction lifecycle software employs a program and database architecture to modify a conventional CRM architecture to include extended invoice transaction functions. In the preferred embodiment, a Microsoft CRM product is enhanced by modification of native database tables, addition of new database tables, and addition of software processes to support the complete invoice transaction lifecycle including invoice generation, product selection and pricing, order fulfillment, and payment and accounting activities.
