  • Publication number: 20220236098
Abstract: A platform configured for evaluating metering technologies and generating meter profiles using information derived from a plurality of meters retrieved from a plurality of environments. The platform may include a centralized data storage system in communication with a fluid meter test bench system. A computing device automatically controls fluid meter test bench system to measure the accuracy of fluid meters and transfers meter data to at least one of the centralized data storage system or a local data silo in communication with the centralized data storage system. Exemplary meter data includes meter type data, meter test data and meter environmental data. Meter environmental data may comprise meter install location and at least one of fluid quality data or fluid meter mounting position. The platform is configured to provide a meter profile for each meter tested based at least in part on the meter data and the test system data.

  • Patent number: 11181415
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosed inventions relate to a platform configured for evaluating and profiling metering technologies such as water meters using information derived from a plurality of fluid meter test systems deployed in a plurality of environments and in communication with a centralized data storage system. The inventions teach the establishment of an A Posteriori Database (APD) using “laboratory data” and “field data” derived from user entries and meter tests using a network of certified fluid meter test benches where the field data is based on evaluations of meters removed from a known metering environment.

  • Patent number: 10392804
Abstract: A delay anchor (delay anchor) for coupling terminal ends of two discontinuous tendons together resulting in a structurally continuous single tendon. The delay anchor generally comprises a coupling sleeve seating one set of tendon wedges for clamping one tendon end, and a stressing barrel seating a second set of tendon wedges for the other tendon end, the stressing barrel being attached to the coupling sleeve, and a compression spring biasing the two assemblies apart. The coupling sleeve is internally configured with a plurality of internal locking channels, and the stressing barrel has a plurality of radially protruding locking lugs slidable therein to provide a twist-lock insertion feature. An encapsulation insert is engaged to one side of an intermediate anchor and an encapsulation sleeve locks onto the encapsulation insert and covers and weather seals all internal components of the delay anchor.

  • Publication number: 20150258698
Abstract: A potato chip cutting apparatus, the apparatus comprising an annular-shaped cutting head and a central impeller coaxially mounted for rotation within the cutting head for delivering potatoes radially outwardly toward the cutting head, the impeller having a base with an upper surface across which potatoes are, in use, delivered to the cutting head, a plurality of knives serially mounted annularly around the cutting head, each knife having a first cutting edge extending substantially vertically and spaced from the cutting head to provide a gap between the first cutting edge and the cutting head, each knife also having a second cutting edge extending substantially horizontally and extending radially at least partly across the gap, the second cutting edge being located at least 50 mm above the upper surface of the impeller to define a cutting zone for cutting a single potato slice between the upper surface and the second cutting edge.
