The apparatus comprises a generally rectangular body, at least two magnets, and at least one leveling device. The method generally comprises positioning the apparatus of the invention in the center of where a doorway will be placed, contacting the vertical sides of the door frame with the apparatus such that each of the magnets on the apparatus is in magnetic contact with a vertical side of the door frame, and using the apparatus to correctly square, level, and set the door frame.

Abstract: The invention provides a drywall finishing method. The method may include the steps of taping one or more drywall joints with drywall tape and allowing drying; applying a coat of joint compound composition covering substantially all of the drywall tape and allowing to dry; and applying a finishing coat of joint compound composition to substantially all of a drywall surface and allowing to dry. The invention further provides a joint compound composition suitable for use in the method of finishing drywall, wherein the joint compound composition comprises a composition compatible with conventional jointing compound material and exhibits improved properties of thickness, self leveling, elasticity, durability, photographing and/or mold resistance over that of conventional joint compound compositions.

Abstract: An inflatable pneumatic plug useful for expediting the hydrostatic testing of bathtub and water plumbing installations. The pneumatic plug has a semi-rigid handle tube with an air valve at one end and an inflatable tube attached to its opposite end. The inflatable tube and the handle are of sufficiently small diameter to pass through the overflow drain in the bathtub, past the drain stopper assembly and into the drain trap without disassembly of the plumbing. The inflatable tube, such as a latex tube, is chosen with a length and wall thickness such that the inflatable tube is relatively stiff and will tend to deflect laterally around a solid obstacle when advanced into the plumbing rather than flattening axially. The inflatable tube is inflatable to a diameter at least five times greater than its deflated diameter for making a water-tight seal in a plumbing conduit.
