  • Publication number: 20240126038
Abstract: A panel system includes a chassis holding one or more tray arrangements, which are each configured to receive one or more cassettes at two or more bays. The tray arrangements and cassettes cooperate to define a cassette sensor arrangement and a port occupancy sensor arrangement having separate interface points. The cassette sensor arrangement may include electronic memory storing physical layer information about the cassette. All active components of the port occupancy sensor arrangement are disposed on the tray while the electronic memories of the cassette sensor arrangement are stored on the cassettes.

  • Publication number: 20240077046
Abstract: A centerbody assembly includes a center tube, a forward bulkhead, an aft bulkhead, at least one baffle, and an outer skin. The center tube extends circumferentially about an axial centerline. The center tube extends between and to a first axial tube end and a second axial tube end. The forward bulkhead is mounted to the center tube at the first axial tube end. The aft bulkhead is mounted to the center tube at the second axial tube end. The at least one baffle extends axially from the forward bulkhead to the aft bulkhead. At least the forward bulkhead, the aft bulkhead, or the at least one baffle include one or more thermal beads. The outer skin circumscribes the center tube, the forward bulkhead, the aft bulkhead, and the at least one baffle to form an acoustic cavity radially inside the outer skin.

  • Patent number: 7217776
Abstract: The present invention provides novel gel forming methacrylic blocking copolymers that exhibit cationic pH-sensitive behavior as well as good water solubility. The copolymers are constructed by polymerization of a tertiary amine methacrylate with either a (poly(ethylene oxide)-b-poly(propylene oxide)-b-poly(ethylene oxide) polymer, such as the commercially available Pluronic® polymers, or a poly(ethylene glycol)methyl ether polymer. The polymers may be used for drug and gene delivery, protein separation, as structural supplements, and more.

  • Patent number: 7183369
Abstract: The present invention provides novel block copolymers as structural supplements for injectible bodily prosthetics employed in medical or cosmetic procedures. The invention also includes the use of such block copolymers as nucleus pulposus replacement materials for the treatment of degenerative disc disorders and spinal injuries. The copolymers are constructed by polymerization of a tertiary amine methacrylate with either a (poly(ethylene oxide)-b-poly(propylene oxide)-b-poly(ethylene oxide) polymer, such as the commercially available Pluronic® polymers, or a poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether polymer.

  • Patent number: 7160971
Abstract: The present invention provides novel multi-functional methacrylic copolymers that exhibit cationic pH-sensitive behavior as well as good water solubility under acidic conditions. The copolymers are constructed from tertiary amine methacrylates and poly(ethylene glycol) containing methacrylates. The copolymers are useful as gene vectors, pharmaceutical carriers, and in protein separation applications.

  • Patent number: 7029697
Abstract: A system and methods for controlled gene delivery comprising condensed nucleic acids complexed with polylinkers, wherein the complexes are covalently and/or non-covalently bound to the surface of a substrate capable of supporting cell adhesion. The gene delivery system achieves temporal and spatial control of nucleic acid delivery to a target cell or cells through control of complex density on the surface of the support substrate, and reversibility of the attachment of the polylinker to the support substrate. The system and method of the invention can be used to create spatial patterns of gene expression, and in tissue engineering, high throughput screening, and gene therapy applications.
