    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for managing connections between a wireless headset and various user devices, e.g., to answer or place a call at a particular user device (e.g., a device that is not currently connected to the headset) as a headset-supported call in which the call audio is routed from the particular user device to the headset and/or vice versa. Connections between the headset and relevant user devices may be controlled or facilitated by suitable software and hardware components to establish the headset-supported call. For example, such device connections may be controlled or facilitated by a cloud-based network including remote server(s). As another example, the device connections may be controlled or facilitated by a local mesh network, e.g., including user device(s) connected to the headset and the particular user device. As another example, the device connections may be cooperatively managed by a cloud-based network and a local mesh network.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and devices for the formation of articles, for example pelletized articles, for use as animal feed or otherwise. In one exemplary embodiment, the present invention provides a process of forming animal feed. The process includes forming a mixture of hydrated alginate. The process further includes forming a mixture of ingredients to be pelletized, the mixture of ingredients being placed in a preconditioning chamber of a forming device. The process further includes atomizing and injecting the hydrated alginate into the preconditioning chamber to coat the mixture of ingredients. The process still further includes pelletizing the mixture of alginate coated ingredients, wherein the volume of atomized hydrated alginate applied to the mixture of ingredients is based upon one or more characteristics of the ingredients, one or more operating conditions of the forming device or both.

    Abstract: The present invention provides methods and devices for the preparation and delivery of retention and lubricant agents to ingredients to be pelletized through a forming device such as a pellet mill, extruder or otherwise. Through the features of the present invention, a continuous supply of retention and lubricant agent is prepared and delivered to a forming device, which may be automated based upon calculated or measured need of the retention and lubricant agent. In one embodiment, these and other advantageous features are based upon a unique device configured for automated hydration and delivery of alginate to a forming device based upon one or more conditions of the device, forming device or both.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an electrostatic chuck and system for maintaining a device flat within the electrostatic chuck. The electrostatic chuck has a plate, height adjustment mechanisms connected to the plate; and electrostatic chuck pins connected to the height adjustment mechanisms. The system provides a measurement tool adapted to measure the flatness of the device held by the electrostatic chuck pins and a computer connected to the height adjustment mechanisms and the measurement tool. The computer adjusts the flatness of the device by adjusting the height adjustment mechanisms based on feedback from the measurement tool. The computer is adapted to change the shape of the device to conform to a pre-existing standard.
