  • Publication number: 20240370782
Abstract: A method is provided for host management in an online marketplace. The method includes obtaining a property listing listed on the online marketplace. The method may also include providing a host management graphical user interface for managing co-hosts. If the property listing is associated with one or more co-hosts, the method includes displaying host detail affordances. In response to detecting a user selecting a host detail affordance corresponding to a co-host, the method includes displaying permissions, payouts, and activity log, for the co-host. If the property listing is not associated with co-hosts, the method includes displaying a co-host add option to add a co-host for the property listing. The method may also include, in response to detecting an input from the user, to select the co-host add option, allowing the user to specify a new co-host and associating the new co-host with the property listing.

  • Patent number: 11682395
Abstract: An electronic device, a system, a method, and a program for externally adding voice control functionality to another device are disclosed. The electronic device includes memory, a processor, an audio input interface, a first communication interface, a second communication interface, and an audio encoder. First return audio data is received by the first communication interface from a sink device. An audio signal corresponding to a voice command is received by the audio input interface from a transducer. The audio signal is encoded by the audio encoder to obtain second return audio data. The second return audio data is output by the second communication interface to a source device. The second return audio data is encoded by an audio encoder of the source device to obtain control data. A function of the source device is controlled based on the control data.

  • Patent number: 11202225
Abstract: Performance of a communications device with a processor, a memory, and a SIM in a wireless communication network is tested to provide a range of QoS KPIs. A test server sends a payload to the device modem, the size of which has been computed to avoid adversely affecting real time performance. The modem uses the payload to fill a buffer of restricted size in the memory, the buffer being smaller than the payload. The modem processor signals the SIM to indicate that data is available in the buffer, and the SIM instructs the processor to purge the buffer. There are repeated cycles until all of the payload has been written to the buffer and purged. The buffer signals the test server to indicate that all of the payload has been written to the buffer and purged, and the server determines a time duration from initial download of the payload to final purging as a downlink performance indicator.

  • Publication number: 20210098137
Abstract: Increasingly, multiple users and multiple network devices are connecting to or requesting access to and/or from network resources. Users are increasingly expanding the number of network devices connected to a network. For example, a Home Network Environment (HNE) can have multiple networked devices connected to a single network. Each network device has its own interface and each network device is controlled via this interface which is generally located at the network device. A smart media device (SMD) can provide a centralized control for the multiple network devices and access to and/or from the multiple network resources. The SMD can provide control of one or more Internet of Things devices communicatively coupled to the SMD.

  • Patent number: 8356696
Abstract: A system and method for lubricating components where the lubricant is applied in mist form within a substantially enclosed cavity. The cavity contains a draining aperture which collects excess lubricant for subsequent re-use by the system. The cavity is defined by a spray head that includes a base having attached thereto a cover plate with an opening adapted to receive therethrough a component to be lubricated. The cavity and lubrication chamber prevents the escape of excess lubricant. The collection and reuse of excess lubricant provides a closed loop system that reduces lubricant waste.

  • Patent number: 7916142
Abstract: An embodiment relates generally to a method of generating user-specified information. The method includes receiving a plurality of points selected on a map to form a first continuous line having one or more vertices. The method also includes generating a closed polygon having a plurality of edges, where at least one edge forms a second continuous line substantially parallel to and spaced apart at a distance from the first continuous line. The method also includes determining a plurality of coordinate pairs each associated with a point on the plurality of edges of the closed polygon and retrieving user specified information for an area enclosed by the plurality of coordinate pairs.

  • Publication number: 20100064357
Abstract: Techniques are provided for designing, deploying, and executing mashups that integrate human workflows with automated processes. In an example embodiment, a system for executing mashups comprises a human interaction module, an event manager module, and a process orchestration module. The human interaction module is configured to receive user input while a human workflow included in a mashup is being executed, and to raise an event in response to the user input. The event manager module is configured to: receive the event from the human interaction module; based on the event, identify a particular automated process from one or more automated processes that are included in the mashup; and invoke the process orchestration module to execute the particular automated process based on the event. The process orchestration module is configured to execute the particular automated process in response to being invoked by the event manager module.

  • Patent number: 6829014
Abstract: A frequency range bounder for limiting the frequency of a voltage controlled oscillator uses a multiplexer that responds to comparator inputs indicating whether an input control signal will allow the oscillator frequency to go beyond a predetermined range. If the control signal keeps the frequency within the range, the control signal is sent directly to an oscillator driver. If the control signal is above or below the range, the multiplexer outputs an alternative value as the control signal. As a result, the oscillator frequency is prevented from extending beyond an allowable tolerance range.

  • Patent number: 6157726
Abstract: A circuit connected between an audio signal receiver and an audio output unit can prevent an audio pop from being emitted by a speaker associated with the audio output unit. The circuit interrupts the output of the signal receiver when the DC voltage level of the system suddenly changes, e.g. when a different audio signal is selected or when the receiver is powered on or off. The output of the receiver is shunted through a resistor to ground until a blocking capacitor between the receiver and audio output unit can charge to the new DC voltage level.
