  • Publication number: 20260096867
Abstract: Disclosed is a device and method for retrieving a magnetic marker implanted in an individual. The device includes an introducer having a tip. An obturator is disposed within the introducer. The obturator has a magnetic end. The obturator is operable such that the magnetic end is enclosed within the introducer in a first position and the magnetic end extends at least partially beyond the tip of the introducer in a second position. A method for removing a magnetic marker from a location within an individual includes inserting an introducer into an individual. The introducer has an obturator with a magnetic end. A magnetic marker is magnetically attracted using the obturator such that the magnetic marker attaches to the obturator. The obturator is retracted into the introducer such that the magnetic marker is at least partially within the introducer.

  • Patent number: 12217232
Abstract: The present disclosure concerns methods and systems for increasing anonymity and traceability of a digital property management system that manages digital property transactions on a distributed transaction consensus network. The digital property management system comprises a sender's digital property manager and a recipient's digital property manager. The sender's digital property manager further comprises a sender's module and a sender's transaction node and the recipient's digital property manager further comprises a recipient' module and a recipient's transaction node. To increase anonymity of a remittance transaction between, sender's module is not allowed to access a recipient's virtual identification. Thus, recipient's module generates a token to temporarily replace a recipient's virtual identification. To increase anonymity, an encrypted label is generated for each sub-transaction to identify sub-transactions and their sequence in the same remittance set.

  • Publication number: 20240074024
Abstract: An inductively coupled plasma (ICP) torch includes: an injector defining an injector flow passage to receive a flow of a sample fluid; a plurality of tubes disposed about the injector and configured to receive and direct a flow of one or more torch gases; an induction device disposed about the plurality of tubes, the induction device configured to receive a radio-frequency electric current to inductively energize at least one of the one or more torch gases to produce a plasma proximate a distal end of the ICP torch; and a plasma steering system including a plurality of nozzles adjacent a distal end of the injector flow passage and configured to receive and direct a flow of steering fluid to impinge and redirect the flow of sample fluid and to thereby redirect an ionized sample resulting from the interaction of the sample fluid with the plasma.

  • Publication number: 20240055248
Abstract: Certain configurations of a sampler cone and its use with a metal gasket to seal the sampler cone to a mass spectrometer interface are described. The sampler cone, interface or both may comprise one or more surface features. Coupling of the sampler cone to the interface can compress or crush the metal gasket to provide a seal between the sampler cone and the interface. For example, a crushing force provided by surface features of the sampler cone and interface can crush the gasket and provide a substantially fluid tight seal between the sampler cone and the interface.

  • Publication number: 20230314417
Abstract: The present invention relates to monoclonal antibodies that specifically bind to chemically-modified nucleic acid molecules, including pan-specific antibodies that bind to chemically-modified nucleic acid molecules independent of nucleotide sequence. The invention also relates to methods of generating monoclonal antibodies to chemically-modified nucleic acid molecules as well as methods of using such antibodies to detect nucleic acid molecules in biological samples. Various immunoassays incorporating the monoclonal antibodies of the invention are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20230206207
Abstract: Disclosed are a method and a system for resolving a target, which employ two-stage target resolution. A local resolving peer resolves the target at a first-stage target resolution. If the first-stage target resolution fails, the first resolving peer sends target-related information to at least one remote resolving peer for second-stage target resolution in return of a resolvable result indicating that the target is resolvable to corresponding type of identifier. To avoid congested traffic arising from broadcasting target-related information without discrimination to the at least one remote resolving peer, a scheme caching approach and a hint service approach are adopted. Transmission of target-related information can be conducted either concurrently or sequentially in response to traffic condition. Accordingly, the method and the system of the present invention reliably resolve a target with known or unknown format at two stages without compromising the efficiency for target resolution.
