  • Publication number: 20250042142
Abstract: The invention relates to a multi-layer paneling structure having a high gloss cap and second layer of high impact resistance thermoplastic polymer or composites for exterior and interior paneling applications where chemical resistance and/or scratch resistance is desired. The invention also relates to a high gloss, multi-layer panel that can easily be repaired, once marred, to return the surface gloss to at least 90% of the original surface gloss. The invention further relates to articles made with the multi-layer paneling structure of the invention. The multi-layer structure can be used alone, or can be very thin and used as a replacement for an undercoating and coating on an article, such as a metal car part.

  • Patent number: 11589518
Abstract: The invention relates to a light-diffusing material, having a high transmission of UVA light, useful for horticultural lighting. The light-diffusing material has a hiding power of greater than 50% at 350 nm and a transmission of light at 350 nm of at least 30 percent, and preferably at least 50%. Additionally the light-diffusing material also transmits and diffuses at least 50% of light at 300 nm, 465 nm, and at 800 nm. The light-diffusing material is especially useful as a glazing for horticultural use.

  • Publication number: 20210115241
Abstract: The present invention relates to a polymeric (meth) acrylic composition comprising polymeric silicone particles and optionally polymeric (meth) acrylic particles. In particular the present invention relates to a polymeric (meth) acrylic composition comprising polymeric silicone particles having a weight average particle diameter between 1 ???? and 10 ???? and optionally polymeric (meth) acrylic particles with a having a weight average particle diameter between 20 ???? and 100 ????. The present invention concerns also the use of such a polymeric (meth) acrylic composition comprising polymeric silicone particles and optionally polymeric (meth) acrylic particles as a masterbatch. The present invention concerns also a process for making a (meth) acrylic composition comprising polymeric silicone particles and polymeric (meth) acrylic particles from a polymeric (meth) acrylic masterbatch composition comprising polymeric silicone particles and optionally polymeric (meth) acrylic particles.
