  • Patent number: 11441818
Abstract: A mounting system includes a footer having a cavity section and a cover section. The cavity section includes: a base and a first patterned wall extending upward from the base to at least partially define a cavity; and a hole for receiving a connector to attach the footer to a fixed surface. The cover section is releasably attachable to the cavity section and has a second patterned wall. An intermediate support has a stem and a head, at least two sides of the stem have a pattern, the head having at least one support surface shaped to supporting an object and a lock configured to secure the object to the head. The first patterned wall, the second patterned wall and the pattern on the two sides of the stem collectively define a plurality of defined height and width positions for the intermediate support to align relative to the footer.

  • Patent number: 11128143
Abstract: A solar panel system for determining how many solar panels connected to a controller is provided. An electrical pathway connects the controller to at least one solar panel. A first resistance is associated with each of the at least one solar panel. An external environment resistance is defined by a cumulative presence of at least the first resistance associated with each of the at least one solar panel, wherein the external environment resistance is different based on a total number of the at least one solar panels connected to the electrical pathway. A second resistance is associated with the controller. The external environment resistance and the second resistance at least partially define a voltage divider to receive an input voltage and produce an output voltage. The controller is programmed to determine from the produced output voltage the total number of the at least one solar panel connected to the controller along the electrical pathway.

  • Patent number: 11099135
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed relating to composite photonic materials used to design structures and detecting material deformation for the purpose of monitoring structural health of physical structures. According to one aspect, a composite structure is provided that includes a base material, an optical diffraction grating and one or more fluorophore materials constructed such that localized perturbations create a measureable change in the structure's diffraction pattern. An inspection device is also provided that is configured to detect perturbations in the composite structure. The inspection device is configured to emit an inspecting radiation into the structure and capture the refracted radiation and measure the change in the diffraction pattern and quantify the perturbation based on the wavelength and the angular information for the diffracted radiation.

  • Patent number: 11019208
Abstract: Agents of a contact center may utilize a text channel (e.g., text chat, email, etc.) to communicate with a customer. A processor monitors the keystrokes entered by the agent. If the agent is found to have entered keystrokes beyond a previously determined threshold, and subsequently deleted the resulting test and replaced it with another test, a deficiency may be determined to be present. When a deficiency is present, the processor may initiate a remediation action.

  • Patent number: 10541642
Abstract: A mount for support of a component on a surface is provided. A base includes a bottom adapted to be supported on the surface, a circuit component, and a data pathway extending from the circuit component. A compressible component is mounted above the base and in electrical contact with the data pathway of the base, the compressible component having an uncompressed state in which the circuit component is not electrically accessible through the compressible component, and a compressed state in which a data pathway is formed through the compressible component such that the data pathway of the base is electrically accessible through the compressible component. The compressible component is adapted to transition from the uncompressed state to the compressed state in response to a lag bolt passing through the compressible component and base and applying sufficient downward pressure to secure the base to the surface.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system for and a method of collaborative annotation of digital content. In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, a method of annotating digital content is provided. An annotation related to a portion of a volume of digital content is created. The annotation is stored in computer-readable memory in a manner that maintains a logical connection between the annotation and the portion of the volume of the digital content. The annotation is created by a first user. A comment is created by a second user in response to the annotation. The comment is stored in computer-readable memory in a manner that maintains a logical connection between the comment and the annotation. The portion of the volume of the digital content is displayed together with at least an identification of the annotation and at least an identification of the comment.

  • Publication number: 20190387258
Abstract: A multi-cast IPTV software solution for AppleTV™ devices is described. The solution employs industry standard Pro:Idiom-M encryption to satisfy content distribution contracts to the hospitality industry of the United States from prominent media companies in a unique manner not previously accomplished by conventional IPTV service software applications. Per the multi-cast setup afforded to hotels, hospitals, and other agents of the hospitality industry, users are able to simultaneously view programming throughout the network without substantial loss of bandwidth, and while maintaining the protections afforded by encryption as mandated by most US content providers. The software solution ensures comprehensive compatibility between an AppleTV running tvOS and encrypted IPTV streams.

  • Patent number: 10405453
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for carrier-less storage device extraction in an information handling system. A carrier-less storage shuttle includes two sides rigidly affixed to an enclosure assembly and a latch assembly configured to affix a storage device at an engaged position within the enclosure assembly. The carrier-less storage shuttle further includes a strap movably coupled to the two sides, a first end of the strap coupled to the latch assembly, and a second end of the strap coupled to a second side of the two sides. When the storage device is in the engaged position, a bottom surface of the storage device is in contact with the strap, and the latch assembly is moved in a generally outward direction from the enclosure assembly, the strap moves in response such that the storage device moves from the engaged position to a disengaged position.
