  • Patent number: 10869429
Abstract: An illumination device, which may include a plurality of housing members, a plurality of light emitting elements arranged on each of the housing members, a motor coupled to the housing members to rotate them about a central axis, a sensor system for providing a signal in response to a condition of an area of interest, and control system for controlling the rotational speed of the motor, and selectively energizing the light emitting elements in response to the signal from the sensor, to provide the desired target area with a desired illumination output.

  • Patent number: 10469435
Abstract: Online communication sessions may be joined in an environment that includes receiving a first communication between a first user and a second user and enabling the rendering of the first communication at devices associated with the first and second users. A second communication between the first user and a third user is received and the rendering of the second communication at devices associated with the first and third users is enabled. After receiving the first and second communications, a trigger to join at least the communication sessions associated with the first, second, and third users is received from the first, second, or third user. Information structured and arranged to render, in a single window, text associated with the first and second communications at the devices associated with the first, second, and third users is generated.

  • Publication number: 20050123646
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a cheese flavour ingredient and an ingredient so prepared. The method comprises subjecting a protein in water mixture to proteolysis by a protease enzyme and to fermentation with a physiologically acceptable bacterium of one of the genera Enterococcus, Staphylococcus or Pseudomonas capable of producing a cheese flavour ingredient. The cheese flavour ingredient of the invention has a mixture of flavours and may be used as a component of balanced cheese-like flavour compositions.

  • Publication number: 20050048827
Abstract: A quick disconnect is provided to permit two cable ends to be rapidly connected and disconnected without the use of tools. The quick disconnect includes rear and front couplings which may be mounted to respective cable ends. Quick connection of the cable ends is effected by connecting the rear and front couplings to one another by a hinge latch. The hinge latch is retained in the closed position by a compression sleeve which surrounds the hinge latch. The front end of the compression sleeve includes a ring groove that retains a ring spring. The ring spring engages complementary retention grooves in the hinge latch to bias the hinge latch in the closed position, thus securing the front coupling to the rear coupling.

  • Patent number: 4578301
Abstract: A composite material is composed of a matrix of water hardenable material such as a portland-cement-based mixture, and reinforcement consisting of a plurality of layers of open-mesh textile fabric, each layer including two sets of straight lying parallel textile elements united to form the fabric. The width of the elements in each set is preferably chosen so that there is formed within the reinforcement a plurality of irregular cavities extending throughout the thickness of the reinforcement and filled with material of the matrix to form irregular plugs of the matrix material tending to unite the layers of fabric and distribute stresses between them. The individual textile elements may be monofilaments of various cross-sectional form, spun yarns, bundles, rovings, or composite filaments. The elements of the two sets can be united by wearing, weaving, additional yarns or adhesive.
