    Abstract: A control system for an aircraft radio-navigation installation having forward-looking and rearward-looking antennas. The system provides the usual diversity reception facilities of "hunting" and then locking on to one antenna when an acceptable signal is received and in addition it selects the appropriate antenna with reference to the velocity and attitude of the aircraft relative to a ground transmitter even if the signal received on the inappropriate antenna is acceptable.
