Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system for processing ultramafic material. The system may comprise a reactor for accelerating weathering of said ultramafic material. The reactor may comprise one or more chambers comprising one or more microbes, biological medicators, or enzymatic accelerants to facilitate the weathering of the ultramafic material.

Abstract: A beverage container cooling device for rapidly cooling beverage cans or bottles and their contents includes a plurality of turntables provided with stepped diameter expansible collets formed from an elastomeric material for frictional engagement with beverage containers of diverse different sizes, including soda cans and bottles. Bearing assemblies mount the turntables for rotation in a container adapted for containment of a cooling medium such as an ice and water mixture. A gear mechanism in conjunction with either an electric motor or a hand crank functions to rotate the turntables and the beverage containers mounted thereon within the cooling medium in the container for rapidly cooling the beverage containers and their contents.

Abstract: A warm-up and weight training device for use on a sports racket is provided which can be readily secured to and removed from the racket's strings. The device includes two housing portions and a plurality of weights positionable in the housing portions. A securing device is used to clamp the housing portions together from opposing sides of the strings while securing the housing and weights to the strings. Protective gaskets are provided as a barrier preventing injury to the strings. The combination of the variable weights and the change in the moment arm based on the position of the invention from the handle, provide a wide range of resistance.

Abstract: A material suitable for making combustion chambers for gas turbine engines comprises at least two abutting sheets of perforated material, the perforation being out of alignment and interconnected by a series of channels formed on one or both of the abutting surfaces of abutting sheets. The total cross-sectional area of the perforations in at least one sheet is at least double the total cross-sectional area of the perforations in the remaining sheets or sheets per unit area.
