    Abstract: A foot pressure and shear visualization system employs a deformed mesh technique to visualize horizontal shear and color mapping to visualize vertical pressure on a skin surface, e.g. the plantar surface of a foot. Additional cues, such as scaled, directed arrows may be used to enhance the visualization. This system includes a set of sensor hardware interface modules to acquire foot visualization data sets, a data base manager that allows host applications to store and retrieve the data files in a data base, a graphical user interface that performs the display and control aspect, as well as maintains the data files, and a visualization and analysis engine that performs all data set rendering and analysis. The graphical user interface controls a main user interface window, while the visualization and analysis engine controls a rendering window for the combined shear and pressure visualization.

The EMI shield adheres and conforms to the surface of the components and printed wiring board. The EMI shield includes low viscosity, high adherence conductive and dielectric coatings each of which can be applied in one or more layers using conventional spray techniques. The conductive coating prevents substantially all electromagnetic emissions generated by the shielded components from emanating beyond the conformal coating. The dielectric coating is initially applied to selected locations of the printed circuit board so as to be interposed between the conductive coating and the printed circuit board, preventing the conductive coating from electrically contacting selected components and printed wiring board regions.

    Abstract: A machine and process for treating contaminated water having a chamber with at least two electrodes having voltages of different polarities and made of metals containing multivalent salts; an inlet port for introduction of untreated contaminated water to the chamber, wherein the water is treated by passing over the electrodes; an outlet port for outputting the treated water from the chamber; and one or more scraper blades in close proximity with the electrodes wherein the blades are capable of movement along the length of the electrodes to remove accumulated debris. A preferred embodiment includes electrodes are made of noble elements and the scraper is affixed in close proximity to the electrode for removal of debris. Another preferred embodiment includes having the electrodes oriented along a vertical flow of the water. Another preferred embodiment includes a drum shaped electrode that rotates about a shaft while it facilitates cleaning of the electrodes. The cleaning motion is motor driven.

    Abstract: An oil seal for a locking differential mechanism. The seal assembly includes a generally flat plate with a first generally circular oil seal adjacent an outer margin of the flat plate, a circular inner margin defining an opening in the flat plate with a second oil seal surrounding the inner margin, an oil outlet opening lying in an otherwise imperforate area between the first and second margins, and a cover for the flat plate with the cover and plate defining between them a passage for oil extending from a point radially outside the first seal to at least a point adjacent the oil outlet. The seal takes in a supply of oil from the differential sump and supplies it through the oil outlet to a multi-plate clutch which is activated only when the two axles undergo rotation relative to each other and thereby actuate a Gerotor type oil pump.

The wave transmitter assembly transmits a control signal that is received by the leg-controlling wave receiver assembly. The housing assembly simulates a body of a water fowl. A pair of upper appendages are connected to the housing assembly. The upper appendages extend outward from the housing assembly.

    Abstract: A python for maintaining the drinking liquid flowing in lines therein at a predetermined temperature has a drinking liquid delivery line adapted to deliver drinking liquid, coolant tubes adapted to carry coolant and insulator tubing arranged in that order concentrically outwardly. The central drinking liquid delivery line consists of a central drinking liquid tube surrounded by secondary drinking liquid tubes. The central drinking liquid delivery line is in thermal contact with and surrounded by the coolant tubes. The coolant tubes are surrounded by insulator tubing in such a way as to restrict the free movement of both the drinking liquid delivery line and coolant tubes. The drinking liquid is thereby maintained at a predetermined temperature by the temperature of the coolant and the effect of the above-mentioned concentric arrangement of drinking liquid delivery line, coolant tubes and insulator tubing.
