  • Publication number: 20220246287
Abstract: A Surgical Preference Management System is used to collect and store surgical preferences (“preference cards”) specifying resources desired to perform medical tasks. Information concerning costs and surgical outcomes are continuously monitored and associated with preference cards for those tasks. Analyses of cost, outcome, and other related data are used to identify opportunities to improve outcomes, costs, and other metrics by applying suggested modifications to preference cards. Selected analysis results and suggestions are presented to users within a user interface which allows users to adopt suggestions and make other modifications which cause preference cards to be immediately updated and supplied to other connected medical systems.

  • Patent number: 9940353
Abstract: Systems and methods that enable relationship information to be carried along with data objects when serializing/deserializing data objects among application tiers. A tracking component tracks information on relationships associated with a data object, and further enables subsequent change processing on the data object's relationship information. Accordingly, relationship information can be carried along with the data object, such that database operation can be performed without requirement of additional information from the database (e.g., foreign key information that is part of associated graphs).

  • Patent number: 6870906
Abstract: An emergency call system includes a data bus and bus controller operatively connected to the data bus for controlling data access on the data bus. The system can include at least one of wireless, direct connect and telephone subsystems. A wireless device module could be operatively connected to the data bus for receiving and passing alarm signals onto the data bus from a premises based wireless subsystem having at least one wireless receiver that receives wireless alarm signals from wireless pendants and other devices. The system could also include a direct connect module that receives and passes alarm signals onto the data bus from a premises based direct connect subsystem having wired stations and/or sensors. A telephone module could be operatively connected to the data bus for receiving alarm signals from a telephone of a residence through the telephone network and to the telephone module.
