  • Patent number: 8064085
Abstract: This invention relates to a system and method of processing print order requests in a print system comprising a central print controller, a plurality of remote print customers and a plurality of remote print suppliers, the central print controller being connected to the plurality of remote print customers and the plurality of remote print suppliers by way of a communications network. Print customers transmit their print order requests to one central print controller. The central print controller will have information relating to a number of print suppliers stored in the central print controller database and can ascertain which of the print suppliers is the most suitable print supplier for executing a particular order.

  • Publication number: 20110074119
Abstract: A clamping assembly for venting an enclosure having openings extending from the inside of the enclosure to the outside of the enclosure, the clamping assembly having a band portion having an inside surface oriented towards the enclosure and an outside surface opposite the inside surface, the band portion having at least one hole extending therethrough from the inside surface to the outside surface of the band portion, and gas permeable and liquid impermeable venting element covering at least one hole in the band, wherein at least one hole in the band portion is at least partially aligned with an opening of the enclosure to provide a fluid path between the inside of the enclosure and the outside of the enclosure.

  • Patent number: 6429779
Abstract: A telephone line monitoring and alarm apparatus capable of continuously monitoring telephone line status and activating an audio-visual alarm if the telephone line becomes inoperative, incorporates an integral telephone plug to permit direct plug-in connection of the apparatus to a standard telephone wall jack as a self-contained and autonomous unit without the use of interconnecting cables or cable-plug attachments. An integral dual telephone jack splitter permits the uninterrupted use of standard telecommunication equipment, such as telephones, answering machines, or facsimile equipment while the apparatus monitors telephone line integrity. Micropower circuitry derives electrical power from the telephone line to provide visual ON status indication, and from a battery source independently of the telephone communication line voltage, to provide continuous telephone line monitoring, audio-visual alarms and audio-visual low battery voltage indication.

  • Patent number: 5578201
Abstract: A reusable apparatus for multiphase, multistage countercurrent liquid separation is presented. The apparatus is particular useful in progressive multistage separation of target microorganisms from background organisms and materials with precise transfer, air exclusion, homogeneous mixing, isolation from the ambient atmosphere, in the absence of valves and at ow cost. The structure has at least one chamber in which a piston-like sliding bottom is sealingly moved or braked and includes internal structure for mixing, preferably a magnetic-stainless steel ball which can be reciprocated from the outside to mix the liquid contents. Motion of the bottom is limited by stops. A number of ways to actuate the apparatus are taught.
