  • Publication number: 20220270760
Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to viral transfer risk management. In example embodiments, an apparatus is configured to retrieve a first user identifier associated with a first client computing entity. The apparatus is further configured to determine, based at least in part on a first transfer risk score associated with the first user identifier, a first transfer risk score grouping for the first user identifier. The apparatus is further configured to, based at least in part on the first transfer risk score grouping and physical space parameters associated with a physical space identifier, allocate a first physical space assignment within a physical space associated with the physical space identifier to the first user identifier associated with the first client computing entity.
    Type: Application
    Filed: September 3, 2021
    Publication date: August 25, 2022
Inventors: Brian Decker, Hadi D. Halim, Gregory J. Boss, Ranjan Prasad

  • Patent number: 9100396
Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for managing a system's entitlement to digital assets when the system's components are replaced. A unique system identifier, comprising the unique identifiers of predetermined system components, is associated with digital assets data to generate digital assets entitlement data, which in turn entitles the system to process the digital assets data. The digital assets entitlement is perpetuated when a first unique system component identifier is replaced with a second unique system component identifier.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 29, 2010
Date of Patent: August 4, 2015
    Assignee: Dell Products L.P.
Inventors: Clint H. O'Connor, Gary D. Huber, Michael Haze, William A. Curtis, Brian Decker, Frank Molsberry, Subramanian Ganesan
  • Patent number: 8856550
Abstract: Systems and methods for reducing problems and disadvantages associated with traditional approaches to encryption and decryption of data are provided. An information handling system may include a processor, a memory communicatively coupled to the processor, an encryption accelerator communicatively coupled to the processor, and a computer-readable medium communicatively coupled to the processor. The encryption accelerator may be configured to encrypt or decrypt data in response to a command from the processor to perform an encryption or decryption task upon data associated with an input/output operation.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 10, 2010
Date of Patent: October 7, 2014
    Assignee: Dell Products L.P.
Inventors: Amy Christine Nelson, Brian Decker, Kenneth W. Stufflebeam, Jr., Marc D. Alexander
