  • Patent number: 11944278
Abstract: A cassette for collecting a tissue sample. The cassette includes a housing configured to be removably coupled with a manifold receiver of a medical fluid collection system. The housing defines a first void space, a second void space, and an outlet opening. A catch tray is removably positionable within the first void space and includes a screen defining porous features for collecting the tissue sample. A filter element separate from the catch tray is disposed within the second void space. The housing may include a cap portion defining the first void space, and a shell portion coupled to the cap portion and defining the second void space. The cassette may be simultaneously operable in a tissue collection mode in which fluid is suctioned across the catch tray to collect the tissue sample, and a bypass mode in which the fluid is not suctioned across the catch tray.

  • Patent number: 11931567
Abstract: In some examples, a tether head assembly of a delivery system includes an inner retainer and an outer retainer that defines an aperture comprising a receptacle configured to receive an attachment member of a medical device, a passageway, and a groove. The inner retainer is movable within the groove between a second position in which the passageway is dimensioned to receive the attachment member and a first position in which the passageway is dimensioned to prevent passage of the attachment member. In some examples, a tether handle assembly defines a channel, a force transmitter within the channel, a slidable member partially received within a first end of the channel and a button partially received within a second end of the channel. Distally-directed force applied to the button may cause the force transmitter to apply proximally-directed force to the slidable member, moving the slidable member and an attached pull wire proximally.

  • Patent number: 11911059
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a surgical shunt assembly tool that provides a more efficacious grip on the catheter tubes and prevent the tip of the catheter from buckling while the catheter is pushed onto the tip of the valve during installation of shunts during CSF shunt surgery. The tool includes standard handles such as used in a shodded mosquito tool having a clamping jaw integrated into the distal end section of the handle. The distal jaw includes two forcep jaw sections each having a proximal end integrally formed with a distal end of a distal end arm section of one of the two handle arms, and a distal end section extending away from the distal end arm section. The distal end sections of the forcep jaw sections are cylindrically shaped such that when the forcep jaw is closed by bringing the two forcep jaw sections together, a cylinder is formed having a diameter substantially equal to a diameter of a catheter tube to be attached to a shunt valve tip.

  • Patent number: 11848954
Abstract: A method for assessing a network environment includes obtaining, by the network assessment computing device, device information for one or more devices each with an Internet Protocol address currently on a defined network in a network environment from a network appliance device coupled to the network environment. Each of the identified devices are assessed, by the network assessment computing device, for one or more vulnerabilities. Network status data and any actionable items for the identified devices for the one or more vulnerabilities is generated, by the network assessment computing device, based on the assessing. The generated status data and any actionable items are provided by the network assessment computing device.

  • Patent number: 11803501
Abstract: The systems and methods described herein relate to a bi-directional data path (DQ) symbol map generated based on error correction operations. A device may include sub-wordline drivers and bi-directional data paths (DQs) that couple between the sub-wordline drivers and input/output (I/O) interface circuitry based on assignments indicated by the DQ symbol map. The assignments may be generated based on error correction operations performed on data of the memory bank. In particular, the DQ symbol map may be generated to avoid some conditions that, if occurring, may render one or more data errors uncorrectable. These systems and methods may reduce a likelihood of a data error associated with a DQ being uncorrectable.

  • Publication number: 20220099290
Abstract: A fuel injector for an aircraft gas turbine engine includes a housing stem, a fuel nozzle coupled to the housing stem, and a fuel conduit extending through the housing stem and into the fuel nozzle where the fuel conduit bends to extend in a longitudinal downstream direction within the fuel nozzle. The fuel conduit is configured to transport bulk fuel flow further along the nozzle before being split downstream in the fuel circuit for final spray distribution, thereby promoting lower fuel temperatures. The fuel nozzle may minimize metal-to-metal contact between an external wall of the nozzle in thermal communication with ambient environment and an internal portion of the nozzle in thermal communication with the fuel circuit to minimize heat pick-up in the fuel. The fuel conduit may include a coiled section within a cavity of the fuel nozzle for compensating for thermal growth mismatches of the fuel injector.

  • Publication number: 20210194916
Abstract: Methods, network scanning devices, and non-transitory machine readable media that more effectively and efficiently inventory network hosts to facilitate improved vulnerability scanning are illustrated. With this technology, at least one of a plurality of tests is identified based on an application of a model to one or more characteristics of a network following detection of a host device in a segment of the network. The identified at least one of the plurality of tests is applied on the detected host device to obtain at least one result. The at least one result includes identifiable information for the detected host device. A determination is then made when a classification threshold has been satisfied for the detected host device based at least in part on the identifiable information. A host inventory database is updated to include at least the identifiable information, when the determination indicates the classification threshold has been satisfied.

  • Publication number: 20180075702
Abstract: A gaming machine is configured with accumulating multiplier functionality. In one embodiment, the gaming machine presents a base game such as a slot game. In the event of one or more winning base game outcomes, the gaming machine presents a plurality of multiplier value presentation events. An accumulated value of multipliers which are selected or displayed during those presentation events defines a total multiplier value which is applied to an award associated with the winning outcome to create a total award.

  • Publication number: 20050067506
Abstract: A deflector at the downstream end of a fuel tube deflects incoming fuel into an annular fuel channel in a fuel swirler of an injector. The deflector prevents direct impact of the cooler fuel on the exposed walls of the swirler body. The deflector can be formed by a tab or other integral portion of the heatshield, or as a separate piece fixed to the heatshield or swirler body. The deflector minimizes disruption of flow through any flow slots that are covered by the deflector, and may have i) a relatively small circumferential extent, such that the deflector covers only a few flow slots, ii) flow openings or slots that allow a portion of the fuel to flow inwardly of the deflector into the otherwise covered flow slot(s), or iii) a space or gap between the side(s) of the deflector and the inner walls of the annular channel.

  • Patent number: 4880775
Abstract: The present invention relates to novel poly-alkylated benzodioxin compounds possessing a musk-like aroma which are useful as fragrance materials. The compounds of the invention have the formula: ##STR1## where R.sup.1 to R.sup.4 are hydrogen or lower alkyl (C.sub.1 to C.sub.5), provided that the compound has no more than 18 carbon atoms. The invention provides for synthesis of a novel phenolic intermediate and synthesis of the compounds of the invention. The invention also provides fragrance compositions which utilize the compounds of the invention to modify, enhance, or impart a musk-like aroma to perfume compositions, colognes and perfumed articles.
