Patent number: 12213650Abstract: Several embodiments of the present invention are generally directed to medical visualization systems that comprise combinations of disposable and reusable components, such as catheters, functional handles, hubs, optical devices, etc. Other embodiments of the present invention are generally directed to features and aspects of an in-vivo visualization system that comprises an endoscope having a working channel through which a catheter having viewing capabilities is routed. the catheter may obtain viewing capabilities by being constructed as a vision catheter or by having a fiberscope or other viewing device selectively routed through one of its channels. The catheter is preferably of the steerable type so that the distal end of the catheter may be steered from its proximal end as it is advanced with the body. A suitable use for the in-vivo visualization system includes but is not limited to diagnosis and/or treatment of the duodenum, and particularly the biliary tree.Type: GrantFiled: October 13, 2023Date of Patent: February 4, 2025Assignee: Boston Scientific Scimed, Inc.Inventors: John O. Patent number: 10834865Abstract: A furrow closing wheel for closing an open furrow. The furrow closing wheel has a pair of rims mounted for rotation about a generally horizontal axis of rotation. The pair of rims are mounted at an angle with respect to one another with the rims being spaced apart. The distance between the rims decreases as the rims rotate from the top of the direction of rotation to the bottom of the direction of rotation and increases as the rims rotate from the bottom of the direction of rotation to the top of the direction of rotation. Spikes protrudes radially outwardly from the rims. Teeth extend inwardly and laterally from rims. The spikes are adapted to penetrate the sides of a furrow to crumble the furrow walls and push soil in the direction of the furrow opening and the teeth mesh to press down on the furrow to properly close the furrow.Type: GrantFiled: May 1, 2018Date of Patent: November 17, 2020Assignee: AG FOCUS LLCInventor: Brian E. Patent number: 10051772Abstract: A debris clearing apparatus for use with an agricultural implement has a pair of rotatable discs each having a plurality of teeth extending from a periphery thereof. The teeth on the discs each have a profile comprising a leading edge and a trailing edge. The leading edges are sharpened to create cutting edges to cut through crop residue and other debris. The leading cutting edge can be a straight edge with an outer edge formed at the distal tip of the tooth between the leading and trailing edges. Alternatively, the leading cutting edge can be a curved edge with a sharp outer point between the leading and trailing edges. The discs are arranged so that geometric planes containing the first and second discs intersect and the discs are toed-in toward each other relative to a direction of travel of the implement.Type: GrantFiled: July 1, 2015Date of Patent: August 21, 2018Inventors: Brian E. Freed, Bruce Freed

Publication number: 20130079228Abstract: An agrichemical is disclosed having increased bio-activity which is adapted for spray application in a form which offers reduced aerial drift and improved deposition on organisms, reduced agglomeration and gellation problems, is adapted for use with chemicals, pesticides and fertilizers and allows for lower agrichemical use rates. Various adjuvants and surfactants are combined with fertilizers or pesticides, such as herbicides fungicides and insecticides, to reduce application problems relating to droplet size, foaming, chemical stability, plant and area coverage, droplet drift, surface tension, suspension, incompatability, phytoxicity, solubility, volatilization and evaporation, while providing enhanced bio-efficacy and low aquatic toxicity. Purifying the agrichemical composition water source by any of various known processes such as oxidation, ultra-filtration, deionization, reverse osmosis or nanofiltration lowers or removes alkaline components, such as calcium, magnesium, iron, sodium, etc.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 23, 2011Publication date: March 28, 2013Inventor: Brian E.
