    Abstract: A process and apparatus are described herein which provide for the automated processing of electrophoresed gels having biological material thereon within a single processing chamber. The described apparatus is implemented by control sequencing software to stain process electrophoretic gels by contact with a series of recirculated solutions including fixing, rinsing, staining, and developing solutions.
