    Abstract: A static amplification stun gun is provided and consists of a pistol shaped housing. A canted cam lever trigger compresses a piezoelectric crystal producing a static charge which is stored in a capacitor. A grounded target, such as an unruly person receives the charge through the air from a probe at the end of the gun.
