    Abstract: Systems and methods are described for optical processing. According to some aspects an optical processing apparatus may include a pixelated photodiode array (PDA), each pixel in the PDA includes a radiation detector. The apparatus also includes a read out integrated circuit (ROIC) that includes a logic circuit and a plurality of switch elements. The plurality of switch elements being switchable between an armed state for arming its corresponding radiation detector and transmitting a signal received from the corresponding detector to the ROIC, and a disarmed state for disarming its corresponding detector and blocking transmittal of the signal, wherein in the armed state, the PDA is configured to detect an incoming optical signal and in the disarmed state, the PDA is configured to disregard the incoming optical signal. Moreover, the logic circuit controls a switch state of a selectable switch element associated with a radiation detector.

    Abstract: One aspect of the invention provides a method for freeze-drying surfactant-stabilized microbubbles. The method includes: preparing vials comprising a mixture comprising microbubbles; partially submerging the vials in a chilled water bath, wherein the water bath has a sub-freezing temperature; placing the vials on a cooled shelf of a lyophilizer; freeze-drying the vials in the lyophilizer; and capping the freeze-dried vials. Another aspect of the invention provides a method for annealing surfactant-stabilized microbubbles. The method includes: preparing vials comprising a mixture comprising microbubbles; passing the vials in and out of liquid nitrogen (LN2) until the mixture is frozen; holding the vials at ?20° C.; placing the vials on a cooled shelf of a lyophilizer; freeze-drying the vials in the lyophilizer; and capping the freeze-dried vials.

In this way, the recipient device is protected from stale packets.

The method also includes generating a multi-dimensional avatar of the subject representing a topography of the subject. The method even further includes providing instructions on the display to enable the subject to guide themselves to a target position on the cradle for a CT scan with the CT imaging system.

The wearable system may cause the headset camera to capture a first exposure image an exposure above a threshold and cause the headset camera to capture a second exposure image having an exposure below the threshold. The wearable system may determine a fiducial interval during which fiducials of the controller are to flash at a fiducial frequency and a fiducial period. The wearable system may cause the fiducials to flash during the fiducial interval in accordance with the fiducial frequency and the fiducial period.

A non-volatile storage medium stores encrypted user content data and a cryptography engine connected between the data port and the storage medium uses a cryptographic key to decrypt the encrypted user content data. Multiple manager device records each comprise a first key identical for each of the records, and a second key that different for each of the records. The controller generates an authorization request using the first key and receives a response to the request generated by a manager device. The response is specific to that manager device. The controller uses the response to locate the record; decrypts the located manager device record to obtain key data; and generates configuration data based on the key data to register the device.
