Abstract: This invention relates to improvements in locks and latches, particularly improving the strike plate, allowing horizontal and vertical adjustments to compensate for changes in the positioning of the strike plate relative to the heel of the latch bolt when the door is seated against the stop. The invention relates to an adjustable strike plate for locks, latches, and deadbolts, enables quick adjustment of a strike plate, and ensures holding the plate securely in an adjusted position. The invention is an apparatus made of three plates with two different sets of screws, one for securing the apparatus to a door jamb and another for adjusting and aligning the striker plate to a latch and/or deadbolt.
