Patent number: 11951317Abstract: An operating room cable assembly for an electrical stimulation system that includes a lead connector having a housing, a lead lumen extending inwardly from a first opening in the housing and configured and arranged to receive a portion of a lead or lead extension, and a contact assembly disposed within the housing and configured and arranged to move relative to the housing. The contact assembly is configured and arranged to move to a load position and is biased to return to a lock position. The contact assembly includes of contacts that are configured and arranged to engage a portion of any lead or lead extension within the lead lumen when the contact assembly is in the lock position and to disengage from the portion of the lead or lead extension within the lead lumen when the contact assembly is in the load position.Type: GrantFiled: June 9, 2021Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: Boston Scientific Neuromodulation CorporationInventors: Ranjan Krishna Mukhari Nageri, Katie Hoose, Alexander Pruitt, Dennis Johnson, Maziyar Keshtgar, Brian Fang

Publication number: 20240080965Abstract: A method for producing a neutrons includes triggering a raising or a lowering of a temperature of a pyroelectric crystal of less than about 40° C. to produce a voltage of negative polarity of at least ?100 keV on a surface of a deuterated or tritiated target coupled thereto. A deuterium ion source is pulsed to produce a deuterium ion beam. The accelerating of the deuterium ion beam is achieved by accelerating voltage of the pyroelectric crystal toward the deuterated or tritiated target to produce neutrons. Furthermore, the pyroelectric crystal, the deuterated or tritiated target, and the deuterium ion source are coupled to a common support. The method also includes throwing the common support housing the pyroelectric crystal, the deuterated or tritiated target, and the deuterium ion source near an unknown threat for identification thereof.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 3, 2023Publication date: March 7, 2024Inventors: Vincent Tang, Glenn A. Meyer, Steven Falabella, Gary Guethlein, Brian Rusnak, Stephen Sampayan, Christopher Spadaccini, Li-Fang Wang, John Harris, Jeff Morse

Publication number: 20230074234Abstract: A robotic wire termination system for efficiently and accurately connecting a plurality of wires to an electrical connector having a plurality of connector pins with corresponding wire receptacles. The system generally includes a housing, a removable alignment plate, a robotic positioner, a heating device, a touch responsive display, and a control unit. The alignment plate removably holds a selected electrical connector in a specific position and orientation with the connector pins exposed in the housing and the wire receptacles exposed outside. The display provides a visual representation of the connector pins and selections of the connector pins. The control unit receives inputs indicating the pin selections and controls the robotic positioner to sequentially move the heating device along three orthogonal longitudinal axes to a series of heating positions relative to the selected connector pins to provide heat for melting solder to connect wires to the wire receptacles.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 11, 2022Publication date: March 9, 2023Inventors: Dennis J. Johnson, Brian Fang
