  • Patent number: 9579938
Abstract: A TPM sensor measures the pressure of a tire and determines whether the measured pressure is greater than a predetermined threshold. When the measured pressure is greater than the predetermined threshold, an adjustment to the sensitivity is determined by the sensor. The adjustment to the sensitivity is applied to the sensor to yield an adjusted sensitivity. The TPM sensor is operated to make receptions according to the adjusted sensitivity.

  • Publication number: 20170036499
Abstract: In a vehicle tire pressure sensor, a wireless, low frequency (LF) receiver identifies a particular type of signal protocol that was used to form a first message that is sent to the sensor by the vehicle. Using the identification of the protocol used to form the first message, the sensor determines a type of signal protocol to be used to transmit information to the vehicle, such as an identifier for the tire pressure sensor in a second message.

  • Patent number: 9522579
Abstract: A TPM sensor is programmed. The TPM sensor is configured with a TPM identifier and makes transmissions according to a current transmission protocol or protocols. A low frequency (LF) signal is received and the LF signal was transmitted according to a predetermined transmission protocol or language. An identity of the predetermined transmission protocol or language associated with the LF signal is determined. Based upon the identity of the predetermined transmission protocol or language, at least one of the TPM identifier or the current transmission protocol or protocols are adjusted, and the TPM sensor subsequently makes transmissions according to the predetermined transmission protocol associated with the LF signal.

Abstract: A device for providing spatially-oriented traversal animations during web navigation. The device is configured to perform operations that include receiving a destination Internet address for a destination web page into a graphical web browser that is displaying a current web page having a current Internet address on an electronic display. The operations can further include determining, via electronic analysis of the destination Internet address and the current Internet address, a relationship between the destination Internet address and the current Internet address. The operations can further include determining a spatially-oriented traversal animation based on the relationship. • Patent number: 9469166
Abstract: Localization of a tire pressure monitor is achieved. The tire pressure monitor is disposed at one of the tires on a vehicle equipped with dualies. A message is received from a tire pressure monitor and the message has an associated received signal strength. The message includes information indicating a direction of rotation of a tire and a tire identifier from the tire pressure monitor sensor. The tire pressure monitor is disposed at one of the tires of a vehicle equipped with dualies.

  • Patent number: 9430118
Abstract: Embodiments include a method that includes receiving a destination Internet address for a destination web page into a graphical web browser that is displaying a current web page having a current Internet address on a display. The method includes determining a relationship between the destination Internet address and the current Internet address. The relationship is determined by determining differences between the current Internet address and the destination Internet address. The method also includes determining a spatially-oriented traversal animation based, at least in part, on the relationship between the destination Internet address and the current Internet address. The method includes animating bringing the destination web page onto the display using the spatially-oriented traversal animation. The method also includes displaying the destination web page after the spatially-oriented traversal animation.

  • Publication number: 20160176245
Abstract: The air pressure of a tire of a vehicle is sensed. The operational mode of the tire is determined. Based upon the operational mode of the tire, the size of a message preamble is selected. A message to be transmitted to an electronic control unit (ECU) in the vehicle is formed. The message includes the preamble and a payload portion, and the payload portion includes the sensed air pressure. The message is transmitted to the ECU.

  • Publication number: 20150134684
Abstract: Methods, techniques, and systems for gathering social media content are provided. Some embodiments provide a Social Intelligence System (“SIS”) configured to provide dynamic search capability of a content source by using a proxy server system as an intermediary between the SIS and the content source. The SIS may then dynamically determine a rate at which it searches for content based on a rate of change or predicted change of a particular content source. Dynamically determining a rate allows the SIS to track a particular topic or series of topics over time, while only searching for content on the topic at the most optimal time periods to reduce overall cost.
