  • Publication number: 20240088642
Abstract: A circuit interrupter including a current sensor having a normal sensor output and an over current detection output, a solid state switch module structured to have a closed state to allow current to flow through the circuit interrupter and an open state to interrupt current flowing through the circuit interrupter, a gate driver structured to control the solid state switch module including a desaturation function output, wherein the gate driver is structured to cause the solid state switch module to interrupt current flowing through the circuit interrupter when the DESAT function output changes to the on state, and an electronic trip circuit structured to output a trip signal to the gate driver when the normal sensor output reaches a first threshold level or the overcurrent detection output changes to the on state.

  • Patent number: 11930024
Abstract: A method of detecting anomalous user behavior in a cloud environment includes calculating a first vector that is representative of actions taken during a plurality of previous time intervals; calculating a similarity between the first vector and a second vector that comprises counts of actions taken by the user during a current time interval; comparing the similarity to a baseline threshold to determine whether one or more anomalous actions have occurred; and generating an alert based at least in part on a determination that the one or more anomalous actions have occurred in the cloud environment.

  • Patent number: 11638654
Abstract: The present embodiments provide systems and methods for treating a medical condition. In one embodiment, the system comprises a stent having proximal and distal regions, and further having a delivery state and an expanded state. A therapeutic agent is disposed on a segment of the stent. The stent is disposed around an exterior surface of a core assembly in the delivery state. A coupling assembly releasably secures the proximal region of the stent to the exterior surface of the core assembly. The coupling assembly secures the stent to the core assembly for a predetermined period while the stent is in the expanded state and during release of the therapeutic agent at a target site. The coupling assembly further enables the stent to be disengaged from the core assembly and deployed in a bodily passageway.

  • Patent number: 9936946
Abstract: A suture passer includes a stylet and a cannula having an open distal end defining a cannula outer diameter. The stylet has a proximal segment configured for receipt within the cannula and including a suture retention notch, and a distal segment having an expanded outer diameter substantially matching the cannula outer diameter. The distal segment of the stylet terminates at a distal cutting edge. The suture passer includes a retracted position in which the proximal segment of the stylet is received within the cannula through the open distal end and a shoulder defining a transition between the proximal segment and the distal segment abuts the open distal end of the cannula, and an extended position in which the suture retention notch is distally disposed relative to the open distal end of the cannula.

  • Publication number: 20160242800
Abstract: A surgical hand instrument may be inserted through a trocar to facilitate laparoscopic surgery. An end effector, such as a clamp, a spreader or scissors, is actuated by moving a pair of handles between a spread configuration and a contracted configuration. The end effector may be articulated relative to an elongate hollow shaft extending through the trocar with a steering wheel positioned between the pair of handles and operably coupled to the end effector by left and right turn cables and a pair of meshed gear sections.

  • Patent number: 8518013
Abstract: In at least one embodiment, a catheter for insertion into a patient for providing treatment is provided. The catheter comprises an elongated shaft having a proximal portion extending to a distal portion. The proximal portion has a plurality of first lumens formed therethrough and at least one septum separating the first lumens in non-coaxial relationship with each other. The first lumens each have an associated flow area for providing the treatment through the proximal portion. The distal portion has a second lumen in fluid communication with the first lumens. The septum terminates distally in the proximal portion to merge the first lumens with the second lumen. The second lumen has a second flow area that is greater than any one of the associated flow areas of the first lumens for providing the treatment to the patient.
