Patent number: 11975236Abstract: A stationary bike capable of leaning of tilting side to side during use is described. The stationary bike has a fixed frame portion and moving frame portion which is pivotally mounted on the fixed frame portion, at two spaced apart pivot locations, to allow the moving frame to pivot about a pivot axis defined by the two spaced apart pivot locations. The pivotal action of the bike may be resisted, such as by a damper. The tilt-enabled bike is equipped with a tilt disabling mechanism, e.g., a locking mechanism configured to selectively and operatively engage the moving and the fixed frame to disable the relative movement (i.e. the pivoting) of the moving frame.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2022Date of Patent: May 7, 2024Assignee: BowFlex Inc.Inventors: Todd D. Anderson, Brian Venturella, Jeffrey A. Gettle, Edana French, Marcus Marjama, Edward L. Flick, Dan Consiglio

Patent number: 11901931Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may filter leaked power from a signal to accurately perform antenna compensation operations (e.g., apply a transmit gain, perform cable loss measurements) using valid power. A switch at the UE may leak power to an antenna for a transmission, and the UE may use a dynamic filtering algorithm to determine whether a pulse power of a detected signal is leaked or valid. The dynamic filtering algorithm may be able to account for variations in leaked power values, as leaked power may increase or decrease proportionally to intended power (e.g., from which power was leaked). By determining whether pulse power is leaked or valid, the UE may be able to filter out the leaked power and accurately perform antenna compensation operations such as applying a transmit gain for a transmission, performing a cable loss measurement, or the like.Type: GrantFiled: September 9, 2021Date of Patent: February 13, 2024Assignee: QUALCOMM IncorporatedInventors: Lei Sun, Sean Vincent Maschue, Cheng Tan, Bruce Charles Fischer, Jr., Brian French

Patent number: 11838072Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for determining a cable loss associated with a transmission cable of an apparatus. An example method includes sending, to a radio modem of the apparatus, a request for the radio modem to use a target power when sending one or more signals to the signal compensator device for determining a cable loss associated with a transmission cable communicatively coupling the radio modem with the signal compensator device, receiving, at a signal compensator device of the apparatus, the one or more signals from the radio modem sent using the target power, and determining the cable loss associated with the transmission cable based on the one or more signals.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2021Date of Patent: December 5, 2023Assignee: QUALCOMM IncorporatedInventors: Cheng Tan, Lei Sun, Sean Vincent Maschue, Bruce Charles Fischer, Jr., Brian French

Publication number: 20230208362Abstract: An envelope detection circuit and methods for detecting an envelope of a signal using such an envelope detection circuit. One example envelope detection circuit generally includes a first diode, a capacitive element, and a clamping circuit. The first diode has an anode coupled to an input node of the envelope detection circuit and has a cathode coupled to an output node of the envelope detection circuit. The capacitive element is coupled in shunt between the output node and a reference potential node, and the clamping circuit is coupled in shunt between the input node and the reference potential node. The clamping circuit generally includes a resistive element coupled in series with a second diode.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 29, 2021Publication date: June 29, 2023Inventors: Cheng TAN, Bruce Charles FISCHER, JR., Brian FRENCH

Patent number: 6997500Abstract: A multifunctional third row seating assembly that is capable of moving between two seating positions, as well as moving between split passenger seating configurations and between seating and storage positions. In the storage position, the third row seating assembly forms a true flat floor in combination with a second row seating assembly. The third row seating assembly includes a seat cushion and a seat squab coupled to it and mounted to the vehicle such that the third row seating assembly can be pivoted in an elliptical movement between a forward and a rearward seating position. The third row seat cushion is also latched such that it can be released and flipped over from a front longitudinal axis to fit into a foot rest area of the vehicle. The third row squab can then be folded down to form a flat floor. The third row squab is also constructed in two sections, so that it is capable of forming a bench seat or a split seat.Type: GrantFiled: February 19, 2004Date of Patent: February 14, 2006Assignee: Ford Global Technologies, LLCInventors: Peter Steele Horsford, Andrew Brian French, Robert Bostock
